I have initiated a BBQ series that rotates through the communities in our City. They are held in partnership with United Lauderhill Community Association and the North West Lauderhill Neighbors Association. These community BBQs are intended to bring community members together for a fun and casual event, helping to build a sense of belonging and connectedness among us. Community leaders have the opportunity to interact with residents in a relaxed and informal setting, listening to your concerns, and gaining valuable feedback on your collective issues. These leaders are then better equipped to make informed decisions that benefit the community as a whole.

A community BBQ is an excellent way to break down barriers and encourage interaction, promoting a sense of unity. Through these events, we can form new friendships, strengthen existing relationships and gain a sense of pride in our neighborhoods.
