“Quints at the Kirk,” Kirk in the Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Road, Bloomfield Township. Featuring the world premiere of Monuments by Adolphus Hailstork, Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings’ next concert presents two quintet performances. Hailstork’s piece, written for trombone and strings, is commissioned for the Resonate series, exploring the African diaspora through chamber music.
