With only four out of ten matriculants expected to find jobs and an unemployment rate at 24%, according to Statistics SA’s 2010, entrepreneurship has been cited as a solution to the high unemployment rate and the alleviation of poverty in SA.

Our Networking Events are a fun, exciting and effective tool for creating viable referral partnerships with business professionals. These events increase your potential referral sources by meeting a variety of likeminded people in one setting and having the opportunity to showcase and sell products in a fun-filled social environment. The event starts with short presentations from our VIP Sponsors. Then networking begins as invited guests rotate through tables, sample and purchase products, and enjoy fantastic entertainment while chilling on the decks enjoying catering and drinks. This is also an opportunity to distribute business cards and marketing material and create synergies with other entrepreneurs. The venue is opulent and the target audiences are all within the caliber of LSM 6-10. It’s all about creating a platform where you will get a peak into the best suppliers to use for your next function, a chance to meet new clients and an opportunities to meet other business savvy people, all in one luxurious setting. Invited guests will feel like they are being pampered and at the same time be in a shopping environment with a difference.

It is with these facts in mind that Lesley-Ann Erasmus of LA Public Relations and Elizabeth Roux of Elizabeth Roux Management in association with Alba Lounge are coming together to try and make a small difference in the economic downturn by developing network forums and events as a platform for small business entrepreneurs to unite, create synergies and showcase their products and services to a niche targeted line-up of approximately 150 guests.
