About Stanno

Stanno was launched in 1990 with the aim of becoming an essential, reliable and natural part of every athlete’s equipment. Stanno started with the introduction of a compact collection of innovative goalkeeper gloves. A specialty that the brand is still known for.

The brand quickly started to expand its range. For every new development, the needs of the athlete were key. A high-quality teamwear collection was developed, suitable for various team sports. In addition, the equipment portfolio was slowly but surely built up internationally, along with a refined clothing collection for casual comfort. At every step on new ground, the two powerful key pillars of Stanno were of decisive value; product is king & sport is our passion.

Stanno kept growing and continued to win over new groups of athletes. The first sponsorships appeared on the horizon, in various sports. To this day, it is the specialty of Stanno to provide extensive collections of interest to every kind of athlete, on the one hand, and, on the other, to develop tailored, hightech products for specific groups of athletes. This winning blend of versatility and innovation is what makes Stanno such a powerful and essential sports brand.

On the road to a circular sports brand

For centuries, our economy has been based on a linear production model. Products are made from various raw materials that are thrown away after use. But our raw materials are limited, which makes this production process unsustainable.

Stanno is part of a family company, so creating a better world for generations that will come after us has our focus. That is why we are dedicated to speed up the transition to a circular economy and reduce our carbon footprint.

MWY+

We gather all our sustainable projects under the label MWY+ (Me With You+). This allows us to make it easier for customers and partners to make a sustainable choice.

The MWY+ label also includes our first ‘green’ team line: the First collection! Completely circular and fully made of recycled materials.

About recycled polyester

Recycled polyester comes from polyester PET bottles, rejected B-grade fabrics and residual materials. Using existing materials reduces the demand for raw materials by 65%.

Recycled polyester is just as good as ordinary polyester. It is strong, retains its shape and strength, resists abrasion and wrinkles and dries quickly. In other words: excellent material for the manufacture of sportswear.

Cooperation with Salvation Army ReShare

We go further than the production of recycled collections. We also want to take care of used clothing. Therefore, together with our partner Salvation Army Reshare, we offer a recycling and return service for our Stanno clubs. All the players, staff, employees, and supporters can put their used clothing in a textile container that we provide. The gathered clothing will be given away by the Salvation Army to those in need or will be sold.

Garment care: Stanno products are made to the highest standards and are subject to strict quality control procedures. Garments however can discolour due to substances such as mud and grass, liniment or oil, and of course perspiration, all of which may not be fully removable by washing. The extent of discolouration can be greatly reduced by following a few simple procedures. Soaking and/or washing of the garment in water and detergent as soon as possible after use can reduce discolouration, using at least the same volume of water as the garment being treated. Always follow detergent manufacturers instructions, especially those intended to tackle heavy stains and avoid products containing bleach. Stanno International cannot accept any liability for discolouration or damage to garments resulting from staining caused by elements foreign to the materials used in manufacture.

All catalogue prices are recommended prices inclusive of VAT. The copying of products, in whatever form that may take, is forbidden without the prior written consent of Stanno International. Stanno International reserves the right to modify product specifications and prices at any given time.
