Building Centre

The task was to design a building centre near Nagpur which promoted local building techniques and other techniques. This building centre manufactured guna tiles, paper and honey and also gave training to persons interested.

It included residences for staff, guests as well as hostel forstudents

The technology of guna tiles taught here is also been used in the library building for better understanding of the students.
Hobby Centre The design problem was to design a hobby centre, on the basis of self –similarity. Also, the given site was a contoured one. The objective was to create an institute where kids could learn things beyond their academics and evoke their curiosity and their interest in doing so.

Hobby Centre Jali walls have been used extensively on the walls facing the southern direction to reduce the sun’s impact

Commercial Hub The design problem was to do an urban infill at Gandhi Chowk, Nagpur. The aim was to create such a typology so as to generate revenue and reinvent the lost glamor of this prime location.

A commercial hub was finally decided upon and the site selected was in front of the Tuta Bagicha.
