Devon Air Ambulance Trust Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the Charity which raises the funds to keep both Air Ambulances in Devon flying
It costs in the region of £4.5 million each year to keep both helicopters flying
The first Devon Air Ambulance (DAA) mission was flown on the 27th August 1992 Over 10% of all our airlifts are to young people under the age of 16
We take the patient to the most appropriate hospital, which is often not the closest one to the incident but one which provides the specialist treatment the patient’s condition requires.
Each mission flown costs an average of £3,300
