A WORD FROM THE PUBLISHER

Spring in the Land of Enchantment is a beautiful time of year. Our average high is 69, plenty of sunshine, skiing is still possible and other outdoor activities begin to take off, such as rafting, fishing and hiking.

Spring is also a time to shake off the winter blues and begin to venture outside and partake in some of our less strenuous activities, such as shopping at our favorite retail stores and my preferred pastime, dining out!

In this issue, we introduce two new quarterly features. The first is our ‘Shopping & Business Guide.’ Using just the camera on your smartphone or tablet, or using a QR Code Reader app, you will be able to go directly into the businesses website to shop or just browse without getting in your car!

The second new feature is a ‘Restaurant QR Code Menu Guide.’ Same process as the Shopping/Business Guide. These QR Codes take you directly to the participating restaurants’ menu. That gives you a chance to preview the various dish items prior to kicking off the evening.

There’s a detailed article in the following pages that explains exactly how to use the QR code, whether from your phones, tablets, camera, or using an app. Happy shopping and dining!
