JULIE BURGESS ANNUAL SLIPPING & SURVEY REPORT (D347482) CSC 18/14 RESOLUTION MOVED: Ald Martin SECONDED: Ald Laycock That it be recommended to Council that the report of the Community Partnerships Manager be received and that Council note that: 1.

an over expenditure of the Julie Burgess repairs and maintenance budget has occurred due to a fungal growth being identified during a routine inspection and survey by Marine and Safety Tasmania;

2.

there is an ongoing investigation being undertaken by a molecular plant pathologist and the results will be advised to Council in due course; and

3.

the vessel will be slipped again in April 2015 to undertake a precautionary inspection to assess the condition of the hull and report on the performance of the protection that has been undertaken to date.
