4.0 PUBLIC QUESTION TIME 4.1
RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS RAISED AT PRIOR COUNCIL MEETINGS There were no questions from March Council meeting that required a written response.
4.2
Questions asked at this meeting BRIAN RICHARDS - 5 WHEELER STREET, EAST DEVONPORT (D325959) Why does the Council seek support from the East Devonport ratepayers for the grandiose LIVING CITY plan, while some on the other hand are advocating dismantling of the Eastern Shore plan to re-establish East Devonport as an industrial area, for example 1)
Large fish factory
2)
Large potato factory
Would this happen if the boot was on the other foot? I think not. Response The Mayor responded that this matter is in reference to agenda item 7.1 relating to submissions received on the Interim Planning Scheme. TONY BUTLER - 2 DREW STREET, EAST DEVONPORT (D325958) Does the Council standby the charter given to the Eastern Shore Committee on behalf of the East Devonport ratepayers to guide and implement the plan that was put forward by consultants McConnell and Wagner, called the Eastern Shore Urban Design Plan? Which was funded by the government. If not, why not? Response The Mayor responded that this matter is in reference to agenda item 7.1 relating to submissions received on the Interim Planning Scheme. 5.0
