TESTIMONIES FROM CURRENT CL ASS OF GRADUATES

“I started this baptismal class with an intention to become a better Christian and I must say I am ending this class armed with a very good understanding of a wide variety of knowledge that pertains to Christianity. Starting from the need to be born-again and comprehension of salvation- having Jesus Christ as my lord and personal savior, I have also learnt about the Grace of God. I can now clearly distinguish between true repentance and being sorry about moral deficiencies. In addition, I know it is important to constantly stay equipped with the word of God in our hearts and be led by the Holy Spirit in our daily lives. I have seen of the need to serve as Jesus Christ himself served. As I become baptized the Holy Spirit lives in me and I should be strong and steadfast knowing the Holy Spirit dwells in me. In sum, I pray that all I have learned in this class will stay with us for the rest of our lives, that we will improve on all that us been imparted on us and we will become better disciples of Jesus .” Igho Palmer The believer’s class really enlightened me in some of the areas in the bible I wasn’t knowledgeable. I am very grateful because through this class, I have realized some of the responsibilities a Christian should have. I’ve also gain a deeper understanding of some topics such baptism and what it symbolizes etc. I recommend this class to every Christian Obinwanne Ugonwenyi This class has provided me with the opportunity to pursue a closer relationship with God and has really opened up my mind to realize the impact of God’s power. Now with the knowledge I have gained from each and every lesson, I am able to utilize it as a resource and

DOMINION CHAPEL ACADEMY- THE BROOK S make changes in my own life. My walk with God is easier to understand and I shall continue my journey as a child of God without fear of any misfortune or misguidance. I thank all the teachers and ministers that have helped the class become a wonderful experience and I shall continue to show my gratitude by being a physical testimony of the blessings I have received through this whole thing. Obinwanne Ugonwenyi The believer’s class really enlightened me in some of the areas in the bible I wasn’t knowledgeable. I am very grateful because through this class, I have realized some of the responsibilities a Christian should have. I’ve also gain a deeper understanding of some topics such baptism and what it symbolizes etc. I recommend this class to every Christian Olamide Olajubutu The Believer’s class/Baptismal class has enlightened me and provided clarity on several important subjects that I have always struggled to understand. This class ensures increased understanding by discussing, in great details, topics that help promote the body of Christ. It has truly made a lasting impact on my understanding of God’s love, prayer, quite time, fruits of the spirit, and many other vital subjects that have shaped my life as a Christian. The study on Quiet Time has helped motivate me and increased my focus/emphasis on studying the bible and learning more about God’s word, thereby building my relationship with God Titi A. Baptismal class has been very important to me. I joined the class because I wanted to be baptized but it has been so much more than just that. This class teaches you about many different topics that we need to know as a Christian. This class also incorporates an easy leaning environment in the fellowship of brethren. I’ve learned so much about my faith, which will help with my journey to the finish line. I have also made friends. I am thankful for everything this class has bestowed upon me. I appreciate experiences, knowledge, and even a stronger connection with the Lord. Most of all I am thankful for baptism Ephraim Adeyemi Before joining this class, I was not too confident. I always told myself that I was going to get baptized, but I did not know if I wanted to do it now. So I thought and prayed about it, and God told me that it was the perfect time to join the class. It was no longer “I’m coming here just to come here”, but it was “I am here because I need to be and I enjoy learning more about the word”. I learned a lot of things in this class,

7

but the most important thing that I learned was about faith. Believing in God and keeping my faith in him. I always believed in God, but there would be times where I would doubt myself or I would doubt that God could make the impossible. I say this because for the past year I have been trying to get into graduate school. Last year I was rejected to all schools that I had applied to. It really brought me down. I was depressed and became pessimistic. This year came again, I applied to six schools. I fasted, prayed to God, and told him that he if was real he would prove himself to me. James 1:6 stuck with me “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind”. To make the long story short, last week I was admitted into a graduate program. Rejected to 5, accepted to 1. I began to cry and thank the Lord because I know it was only God himself who did it. It is not just about graduate school. God has proven himself to me in much more circumstances. I now have a better outlook on things and my faith in Christ is much stronger than before. This is my testimony. Teni Bakare I was baptized when I was young, but back then, I did not understand the true meaning of what it meant to be baptized. I saw that there was an opportunity in the church for me to do it again, so I signed up without hesitation. I chose to do this class because I wanted another chance to do it right. When the lessons ended, I learned things that I would not have learned in the Teen Ministry or on my own. Without this class, I would have been spiritually lost, believing that I was a true follower of God. This class helped me fix my old life, and now I can’t wait to start my new one. I will be forever grateful. Olayinka Olajubutu

Testimonies from STS students

Going through the Leadership in training class was really impactful as I learnt most importantly how to be a servant leader like Jesus Christ. I learnt how to always lead by example and how to grow in my Christian journey even as a worker in God’s house. I’m grateful I went through this training because within a short time I learnt so much I wouldn’t have been able to learn on my own. This has given me a very solid foundation even as I continue in my Christian journey. - Joy Ogeghe Taking the Leaders in Training class has provided me with so much insight in being a true leader. I am so glad I decided to take this class. Being a leader is not about one’s self; being a true leader is about serving others. -Olatunde Klementi Imagine weekly thought-provoking conversations with peers dedicated to serving Christ. Imagine being led in these discussions by vision-filled, spirit-led ministers who are well versed in the word and dedicated to your spiritual growth and your leadership development. These are leaders who encourage you in your area of serving, pray with you and for you and who prepare weekly, applicable teachings to help you build a fertile foundation in your journey to also serving others and becoming a fisher of souls. Imagine an encouraging environment where you encounter inexplicable comfort that enables you to share your thoughts with and learn from strangers, who later become friends; friends who you then look

DOMINION CHAPEL ACADEMY- THE BROOK S forward to spending time with both in and outside of church. You don’t have to imagine. You can simply join Dominion Chapel’s Leadership in Training class and experience this for yourself. I was humbled by the ministers’ humility, moved by their passion to both serve us and develop our hearts in the Word. I recall so perfectly the enthusiasm and light which shone from one of the ministers who spoke about grace – his passion so radiant and powerful, he could barely contain himself as he spoke. I remember thinking to myself: I want to experience and understand grace in this way. I walked away concluding that I had just listened one of those lifechanging sermons when you realize that your skewed perception has been rectified and the unclear lens through which you once viewed this concept is now permanently and unquestionably cleansed. No assignment was taken lightly nor any instruction given loosely. Why would they be? This was a result of leaders who had a genuine vision and desire for our transformation through the course. At the close of the class, we gathered together to worship and pray and most importantly, to be prayed over and to be sent out as workers. Joining the Leadership in Training class has been one of the best decisions I have made for myself this year in my attempt to “Launch into the Deep.” Won’t you launch as well? -Nathalie Kalombo

TESTIMONIES FROM CURRENT CL ASS OF GRADUATES

- Yvette Achuo-Egbe, RCCG Dominion Chapel, Stafford, TX SOD was instrumental in my spiritual growth and overall development since the first class. The instructors were passionate about each topic and kept us very engaged during each class. By the end of the SOD training, I could appreciate the added levels of wisdom and knowledge and was able to apply the lessons learned to every area in my life. My friends and family also benefited from the teachings. I want to thank the SOD team at RCCG Dominion Chapel for the opportunity - Bro Paulinus Edom, RCCG New Life Chapel, Houston, TX First of all, I thank God for the opportunity to be at the school of disciple and successfully completing the program. I wish to use this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to all the lecturers and facilitators for their professionalism and commitment to the program. The intellectual Christian atmosphere is very inspiring and infectious. More grease to your elbows” - Brother Anthony Ryder, RCCG Dominion Chapel, Stafford,Texas. The School of Disciple class has produced a positive impact in my daily Christian life, in a significant way. This class has been one stepping stone that has clearly helped me witness in my life, what the Lord means when He says in Hosea 4:6 ““My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…

14

DOMINION CHAPEL ACADEMY- THE BROOK S Since the time I have completed this class, and by being obedient to God’s word, I have seen changes in my prayer life. I have also come to understand the commanding and securing presence of the Holy Spirit in my life. The school of disciple, through their community service I was able to learn to serve God by serving others. I learned that the school of disciple is one school where you can never graduate. Even after finishing the program we continue to learn and to serve God. To be a disciple we were told is a lifelong assignment. The school of disciple made me to embrace the gospel of Christ with all my heart, strength and my spirit and to walk in His ways. It has enabled me to strengthen my family by committing to live by the principles of the Gospel. Moreover, I have learnt to live the life of a disciple like an eagle. The bible says in Isaiah 40:31 that those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount with wings like an eagle. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. Finally, I am challenged by the caliber of young men and women who are on fire for the LORD who I met at the school. After all, iron they say sharpeneth iron. Thank you - Bro Ben Gbessay, RCCG New Life Chapel, Houston, TX The SOD have actually blessed me greatly, God blessed me with new job the very week of our final class ,and He has been good to my family, my spiritual knowledge and beliefs and also has brought me closer to God than before, to God be the glory, I just want to thank Him for the knowledge I have acquired. ďƒ¨ Bro Stanley and Sis Judith Ononiwu, RCCG RCCG New Life Chapel, Houston, TX Thank God for the opportunity to attend SOD. 1- The SOD was a platform for spiritual retooling for me particularly the missionaries who where a visiting lecturer in one of the classes. 2-Inspite of complexity of student time and availability and execution challenges the organizer and hosting church where able to meet task and target. 3- Lecturer material were very insightful and an eye opener with in depth knowledge into the mystery of warfare and service to the kingdom of God.

15

4- SOD afforded me the opportunity to get trained with my wife in the same class enable more bonding in our marriage. 5-We thank God we meet new faces of soldiers in the army of the Lord some to emulate and some to try and keep fellowship with “it is a journey. Many thanks and God bless you sir. - Elizabeth Kuforiji, RCCG Dominion Chapel, Stafford, TX I give glory and honor to God Almighty for His great love and enabling grace. For quite a while I procrastinated on taking the SOD classes. With my work schedule I was sure that may not be possible. However, a good friend, and a great child of God in one of our churches encouraged me and set my determination in motion by registering for the class. Immediately God gave me favor with the needed Saturdays all through. The School of Disciple books are treasure packages. The heavy anointing under which those books were compiled amazes me and fills me astounding awe for my Maker. Every SOD Saturday was fun-filled and even relaxing. We experienced an in-depth knowledge of the love of God and how He values us with a reinforcing power to face our adversaries. Our Ageless Father calls us to know Him more, and there is no casting down because of our age. I encourage every child of God to go forth and enjoy the excellent work being done by the formidable SOD Team to make the experience very worthwhile. I commend the dedicated team. The best rewarder of mankind will find your names in His Great Book IJMN.

TESTIMONIES FROM CURRENT CL ASS OF GRADUATES

Bible college has helped me tremendously as I dig deeper into God’s word. The classes such as Church history, Old Testament and New Testament survey present important background information that have helped me when I study the Bible now. The practical sessions, homework, and presentations were at times challenging but forced me out of my comfort zone and helped me see things in a way I had never seen before. I believe I have greater perspective and more understanding. Other classes like leadership and counseling were very practical and I have been able to apply the lessons and skills learned from those classes in various areas of my life. Bible college has been a blessing to me and is well worth the time. - Delola Ashaye, RCCG Dominion Chapel Houston Being a student in Bible College at RCCG North America, DCH campus has been a great learning experience and has been very beneficial to me. It has impacted my life positively and I highly recommend all believers to pass through Bible College for spiritual growth and maturity. I have been tremendously blessed in the area of character development. Having learned about the disciples and their lifestyle, I was able to develop myself by changing my values, priorities, and attitudes and aligning them to measure up to God’s standards by the help of the Holy Spirit. In my Christian race, I have struggled with understanding the word of God in its entirety. However, being a student in Bible College has exposed me to studying the word of God in an effective way. The courses are structured in such a way that it helps student to learn how to study and interpret the bible. I have learned about different types of

18

DOMINION CHAPEL ACADEMY- THE BROOK S sermons and how to effectively deliver sermons by the leading of the Holy Spirit. I have also learned how to apply the principle of truths, and how to handle scriptures. Bible College at RCCG helps students in the area of doctrinal discernment. It provides course which help students to understand their beliefs and the rationale for their beliefs. It helps students to develop their own convictions based on the word of God and equips them with the tool of discerning between the truth and error. In summary, since being a Bible College student , my knowledge of the word of God is enlarged, my prayer life has improved, my spiritual activities has been positively influenced and above all, I understand that I am a citizen of Heaven and I am deliberately running the heavenly race with the goal of making Heaven. - Rosilyn Gborogen - Pavilion of Redemption Parish - Bible College Student DCH Campus At one point in my life,I needed the guidance of God and craved for the in-filling of His love and joy.I went before Him in prayers, and in an unmistakably clear voice,God directed me to enroll at the Redeem Bible College.Even though I knew that I work on many Saturdays, and wondered how I could ever take such a step. The Lord encouraged my faith and obedience to Him on this aspect. He kept His promise and made all crooked ways straight. I loved and enjoyed every moment of the class, and strangely I always looked forward to the awesome classes. The instructors are so knowledgeable about every class they were assigned to teach. The experience I had all through confirmed to me that the hand of God was propelling me.Going into research to get my multiple assignments done well, gave me joy,and more intimacy with God. We had motivational debates and hearty discussions. Finally,I was so blessed to have been under the tutelage of humane and God-fearing men and women of God.They surely practice what they preach, and I thumb-up for them!!!! How nice it would be for anyone seeking a closer tie and more spiritual connection with God to venture into the Bible College.I believe the experience available is worth the decision. - Elizabeth Kuforiji (Mrs)---RCCG Dominion Chapel, 2016 graduate. I have been richly blessed by attending Bible school. Each course made an impact in my life. However, I’ll have to make it short.

The following are testimonies from some students: Sister Sheri Shobowale, a member of the Overcomers class explains why she loves attending the weekly Sunday school classes and how it has greatly enriched her life. “Being a church usher I usually get very distracted when the main preaching/sermon is going on as I have to minister to those around me, so the Sunday School Class is often the only message I may get for that day. I have found the classes to be very helpful and practical and I love the fact that the class is very interactive where members of the class are able to contribute and share their own experiences. I often remember lessons

He had been praying to God for wisdom and direction regarding the next step to take in his life as pertaining to his business. There were two options, but during one of the Sunday school classes, with the help of the Holy Spirit, he suddenly received the direction he needed to take. He knew exactly which option to choose.
