Group work

RULES: The groups are divided by an accidental principle ( blue, red and green counters) or by the teacher but the decision has to be based. Every group has got a speaker and a secretary. The secretary writes every idea of the students. Equal participation of all students – every students gives opinion. No bad ideas, every idea is good.


Group work  Students have limited time (3 min) .  The teacher says the task and the students work.  All students are responsible about their work.  After fixed time, the group stops working.  The speaker announces the results, other groups

check the answers.  Criteria: participation of the students in the group, realization of the task given .

Brainstorming  Put the problem  Provoke ideas  - The most important thing is the quantity of ideas,

without limitation, the criticism is forbidden before all ideas will be said  - After that all unusual and absurd students’ ideas have to be encouraged  - Combining and improving of each idea, initial ideas can be developed, changed and modified  - Equal participation of all students


 - Students say their ideas bravely, they can imagine  - Student’s mustn’t interrupt others  - We have to encourage shy students  - All ideas have to be written on the board  - Every student must stands up for the idea  - Make conclusion  Example: What must we do if we don’t want to

make our mothers angry?
