Aboutmydesignprocess:
IalwaysbeginbystartingwiththepersonorcommunityIamdesigningforandhowtheirneedsandwantscan generateopportunitiesforinnovativedesignsolutions.Generally,myapproachincludesexplorationsofmany mediumsincludingdiagrams,sketches,renderings,handmademodels,digitalmodels,andenergysimulations.Isee everyprojectinauniquelight,alwaysworkingtotailorthemediumtofollowthethemeofideasandgenerateinsight thatisnotalwaysapparentatsurfacelevelanalysis.
Collaborationwithothersisoneofthemostimportantpartsoftheprocess.I findthatdiscussingideasarounddesign alwaysleadstoamorethoughtfulsolution.Whetherworkinginateamorindividually,peopleandvarious perspectivesarealwayspartoftheprocess.Everyone’sperspectiveisvalidasweareallhumansperceivingthe worldandcarryourownuniquetoolboxofideas.
IadmireAECOM’sabilitytoleadthroughasustainabilitylegacyandfacilitateadesignprocessthatisinclusive, thoughtful,andtakesamulti-disciplinaryapproach.Thevarietyofprojectsexhibitedthroughthe firmcontinueto transformthebuiltenvironmentinamoresustainabledirection.Ibelievethatmybackgroundinsustainability, philosophyofinnovativedesign,andpassionforcollaborationwithothersmakesmeagood fitforAECOM.Ihope thatinreadingthisletterandreviewingmyapplicationthatyoualso findthattobetrue.
