The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry welcomes Dr. Filippo “Filo” Romiti to the faculty as an Assistant Professor and as a recipient of a First-Time, Tenure-Track Faculty CPRIT Recruitment Award. Drs. Sheena D’Arcy and Sheel Dodani have been promoted to Associate Professor with Tenure. Associate Professor Jeremiah Gassensmith has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry. Dr. Jasmine Tutol (Dodani Lab) has been named the 14th recipient of the Irving S. Sigal Postdoctoral Fellowship from the ACS.
