The CityArt program, a collaboration of the City Center Partnership and Twin Rivers Council for the Arts, provides thrilling public art experiences for City Center residents and visitors. They include:

CityArt Walking Sculpture Tour

Enjoy an exciting rotating exhibit of outdoor sculptures displayed year-round in the City Centers of Mankato and North Mankato. Artists from around the world display their sculptures, and from May to October, you can vote for your favorite. The People's Choice-winning sculpture receives a $1,000 prize for the artist. The Jurors' Purchase Award is purchased for permanent installation in the City Center. For a tour map, visit www.cityartmankato.com.

Silo Art

This awe inspiring mural wraps 135-foot-tall silos in Old Town. The lifelike art tells a story of the history, diversity, and inclusion of Greater Mankato.

CityArt On the Go

CityArt on the Go is an exhibit of 20 traffic signal box murals. Pedestrians and drivers enjoy seeing something different about the traffic signal boxes in the City Center, as infrastructure is transformed into colorful art.

CityArt Public Art Tour

The CityArt Public Art Tour is a self-guided walking tour of over 40 unique pieces of art, including the People’s Choice and Jurors’ Purchase Award winners from previous Walking Sculpture Tours and the new public art works installed in Old Town in 2018.
