IN-BETWEEN CONTINGENCIES
My name is Dhaneswara Dewata, I’m 21, I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I believe architecture represent what’s going on between people and spaces. Part of my works represents perceptions of interaction between people, objects, and their environments. I integrate some of architectural design methods that I have learned and use its capabilities in my favour. My biggest intention when i’m working is considerate the soul or base of the project until it reach the most convenient point of execution.

JJIMJILBANG : KOREAN BATH HOUSE Jjimjilbang, which combines a steam bath, fitness room, lounge, restaurant, and sleeping area, provides space where half-clothed bodies intersperse between a variety of functional areas. The jjimjilbang blurs the lines between the collective and the individual, normal and deviant behavior, privacy and voyeurism. The bang is an incarnation of the room, the house and the city, but it does not belong to any of them. The city of the bang oscillates between the domestic realm, institutionalized place, and urban space

INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE WORKSHOP 2019 In the making of this installation, I learn how to welding steel and design an installation with fabric material. The challenge is making the fabric stiff enough to create the form as the design that planned before. This installation is created in a series of Bandung Design Biennale 2019 that provide information about this International Architecture Workshop that held in South Korea.

Festival Arsitektur Parahyangan is one of some projects made by Architecture Student Committee. In this event, there is an architecture instalation, exhibition, art installation and music concert. On this event, I work as the conceptor for the whole plot of the venue and the main conceptor of the entrance installation. I work with my team as a supervisor in making this installaion. This design is a study of architectural design method, woodworking, and working as a team. It requires a detail plan of people, time, money and design visibility on this project. 204 people collaborated in setting up this installation.
