CONCEPT
the concept predicates on the idea of an externally closed rigid reality, enveloping a divergent world which is not in sight at first. This description precisely fits the nature of woman in our society. It illustrates the frame of a woman’s mind, where elements are versatile, ductile and vulnerable. Yet, she remains entangled in her various characteristics.

“Architecture As Beauty, Beauty As Therapy.”
large indoor-outdoor sunken tropical gardens crowned by a pergola that provides daylight to the interior through its glazed facade. These gardens are an important and cherishable part of the patients’ and the visitor’s visual experience helping them heal both from inside and outside, quite the metaphor for the beauty of the structure itself, the glazed surface outside, and the beautiful concealed gardens inside.

URBAN CHILDHOOD
We are living in an ever increasingly urban world, with more children growing up in cities than ever before. It is therefore imperative that we design and build cities that meet the needs of children: seeking their input during the design process, providing them with access to play and education, and facilitating their social and cultural interactions

VISION STATEMENT “Designing area for the systems that support the wellbeing and future of children causes us to infuse them with nature; select, educate, house and properly pay superb teachers; build walkable and bikeable neighbourhoods; eliminate environmental toxins; and generate meaningful work for their parents and affordable homes for their families - in short, do everything needed to make a well-tempered city.”
A receptive space from the community, to the community project envisions redefining the meaning of a space, that pertains to the paradigm of the adjacent neighbourhood thus uplifting the community by serving as a platform to display art forms, perform different activities. The rejuvenation of the slum can enhance the ecologice value as well as can provide an improved spatial experience of that area.

The concept is to create a series of spaces that as a whole are able to blur the line between reality and fantasy, using lights, reflections, color. Sounds, reselitians: an architecture to experience and enjoy, a place both physical and magical, a space to develop the imagination, where interior and exterior, indoor and outdoor spaces can blend together.

TEMPORARY HOMES FOR TRANSIENT CONSTRUCTION LABOURERS HOUSING PROJECT LOCATION KATRAJ,PUNE
Home is not a place; it is a feeling. The competition aims to provide humane living conditions for transient construction workers in India. To create successful housing for construction workers, they must feel that they are rooted in a given place. They should be able to create a sense of community with their neighbours though they stay for a short time and change of families as per the construction demand. The design should foster a sense of community and participation.
Site Plan
Public spaces The attempt was to create a porsity from the main access road and make place multifunctional public space. Semi- public space The attempt was to bring diffused light and indused ventilation by using shipping pallets as wall. Private spaces The attempt was to create space with proper circulation, passives light and ventilation. And skylights introduced in toilets.
IDEA The project aims to create developments that will house people for six to twelve months for transient construction workers in india. It is modular system of prefabricated units that can be assembled rapidly on any small plot of unused land. The housing units designed for the project, which will be fabricated off-site or in site and then forklifted into place, can be stacked on top of each other or combined horizontally to create housing units and communal spaces. A material sensitive approach is adopted which responds to climate and context always challenges to explore materials in varied ways.
