The Challenge of the project was to design a guest house at the present campus of Anant Institute Of Architecture amidst the existing context of the hostel dormitory on east, School of Architecture on north, a lake and an amphitheatre on the west and mango plantation towards south. The form and layout is very simple, yet efforts are taken to enhance the spaces.

The Sequence of spaces are planned and oriented in such a manner to utilize the view of the landscape that the context serves.
Each and every bit of the guest house is finely detailed with a collage of material and texture.
The transitional components such as the passage and staircase are in the centre of the guest house which seeks to integrate all the components of use and occupants into a continuum.

Integrated MIG & HIG „Studio Housing‟ VIEW FROM THE ENTRANCE GATE OF THE HOUSING SITE
Location : Ahmedabad / Gujarat Type / Year : Housing project_ December 2015 Studio Apartments are tend to be the smallest apartments being cost effective and comfort living within the minimalized area. Brief of the project was to design „Studio Apartment Housing‟ on 5 Acres of site along the Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar highway, also considering the future expansion of the project on the other 5 acres of site.
The concept of vertical staggering is been designed for the luxurious units resulting into lower height of blocks being easily accessible to the views of the surroundings
The concept being: „MICRO UNIT‟ acting as „SMART SPACE‟. Focus of the project is in conceptualizing the single units of each typology-Affordable and Luxurious, also providing overall different identity to the whole project itself without leaving the idea of every unit to be recognized individually.

Ahmedabad consists of two distinct eastern and western regions which are physically separated by the Sabarmati River. The old city of Ahmedabad is characterized by bustling markets, the pols of closely clustered buildings and numerous monuments. With the coming of the railway around 1860, development began to spill over towards the northwest and southwest of the walled city. This also resulted in the industrial and residential development across the western side of Sabarmati River. Construction of 5 bridges accelerated this development. During this period, the areas such as Thaltej, Bopal, Shilaj were nothing but small villages with large agricultural lands surrounding these villages. Gradually new modern buildings and new business districts centered on roads such as Asharam road, CG road and SG highway located on the western side of Sabarmati River. The western part i.e. the areas such as Thaltej, Bopal, Shilaj started developing between 1951-1960. As the developments was spreading and with increase in density, the ratio of agricultural land reduced from 60% to 30% approximately. The reason behind this was migration of people in search of land for residential purpose.
The focus of the project is to reform the three fabrics of the Thaltej including Built fabric, environmental fabric and social fabric .

Methodology: Analysis, Inferences and recommendations through primary surveys, study of different layers of the area and compiling data formulating required drawings as a team work. Designing of master plan was based on a theme of „Reformationâ€&#x; was under my scope of work. Also to analyze Commercial activities and typologies which ended into preparing commercial land use plans, built up plans and final report.

“Correlating different urban fabrics essential for people; through organization of heterogeneous public spaces.” In comparison with current context the reformed plan and the reformation idea includes correlation of diverse urban spaces i.e. connection and organization of spaces having different function and character to make it act as a whole rather than parts. This vision of reformation results in making spaces more meaningful for people to connect amongst themselves as well as their connection with spaces and environment. There are set of heterogeneous public spaces which have different function and character but come together as a whole because of its organization and interconnection establishing a strong relationship of spaces to other spaces.

Design philosophy:
The Jallianwala Bagh massacre was a major historical event of Indian freedom movement. The feeling of captivity and restriction among the people was on the verge of change, and acceptance of freedom in form of a bold expression was observed. Thus, relating that past to the present conditions, the design evolves in a dynamic form showing the condition of that moment catering the feelings of chaos, hatred and fear.
Spaces : The idea of the museum was to co-relate with the existing location having narrow entry and a large volume in the form of Bagh. -Temporary Exhibition space at the entrance -Permanent exhibition space at the upper floor depicting the story of whole event. -CafĂŠ having view to the surroundings and the building itself. - The plaza as public space is traditionally a social gathering space also acting as transitional spaces between exhibition and the cafĂŠ.

Designing a memorial not only as a static structure but also a spaces that would allow a social interaction. It, thus becomes a space of awareness, not only mourning or a space to remember those who have passed, but one that becomes a positive vector in the line of battle that would mark the Indian history.
