PaPer Pots the beauty of cooking
Novacart is a leading paper manufacturer in the B2B market and wants to enter the B2C market via the retail channel. The task was to create a new business strategy with a focus on high design value. As a result, Paper Pots, a new range of replenishing, biodegradeable paper pots with a fixed base. The design combines 2 cooking materials that complement each other: the classic metal and paper. It will involves a one time purchase of the metal pot and a refillable paper pot which can be bought as needed. A key advantage of the product is that the user can cook, and serve in the same pot and then either store or dispose as needed. It reduces the need for storage space; is presentable on the table; could be used for takeaway and cuts down on the washing up. Niente é Qualcosa is absolutely something
The idea is to strengthen Piazza Portello’s identity as a creative hub where the art of doing nothing is ultimately alive. A beautiful, colorful installation of Polypropelene thread suspended from the ceiling will act as a means of playful communication. Cups of the same material hang on opposite ends of the thread, acting in the same purpose as paper cup phones. Passers-by can talk on opposite ends of the gallery using these plastic cups, demonstrating the pleasure of conversation through a playful installation from different sides of the gallery. Agua in Situ collecting water from the rain
Aqua in Situ is a sustainable design inspired by the Millennium Development Goals of the UN. The design aim is to supply water for poor people in Southern Colombia where a water management system does not exist. Another objective of the design was to raise the awareness of preserving and harvesting water. The core idea was to collect rainwater for the consumption of a family of four, taking advantage of the tropical climate. The water is sterilized by the carbon filter connected at the end of the distribution pipe. Inspired by the beauty of the local nature, the design is perfectly integrated with the environment.
