C I G A D U N G INNOVATIVE HUB Mentor: Ir. Eko Purwono, MSAS. Bandung as a creative city with various creative people that explore their passion. They need places to meet and stimulate their creativity. Innovation hub as a solution to accommodate that issues. This project located in slope site in North Bandung that has fresh air. The price of this location is so expensive. Because of that, a client needs to maximize this place to get profit. Not only accommodate space to stimulate creativity, but also start-up company offices, co-working space, gallery, tenants, cafe, workshop studio, fitness center, and function hall to keep this building alive on the weekend.

R I A U BUDGET HOTEL Mentor: Ir. Eko Purwono, MSAS. In this dday of age when society develops day by day, they need to refresh their mind and take a break from their works as a nowadays lifestyle. Bandung as the city with various tourist attraction because of nature and local culture strength. The need for hotels will continue to increase in the future of Bandung. The principle design of the budget hotel is efficiency by integrating the functional and development building requirements. This project was designed based on that principle. The main function of this building is hotel rooms which also provides a retail area, food and beverage tenant, gym room, swimming pool, rental meeting room, and banquet hall in the podium floor.

S U K A L U Y U HOUSING Mentor: Ir. Baskoro Tedjo, MSEB, Ph.D. Sukaluyu housing is a housing project for middle-class people located in the high-density area in Bandung. This project is a revitalization of Perumnas Sukaluyu which was planned thirty years ago. This project is designing the new housing from medium density housing into high-density housing. This housing can accommodate up to 350 units of the row house and 5 block walk-up apartment that consists of 400 units. In this housing, there are various facilities such as school, commercial area, mosque, health center, government office, sports facilities, and recreation area.

Circ ulation dia gra m The design still keeps the existing road used by public transportation. Pedestrian routes all over the road, will encourage people to walk from and to destinations.

Green er y dia gra m Green areas are distributed in row houses and walk-up apartment. Besides that, green ribbon is also used beside main road. That will reduce noise from the vehicles and also as a shade for pedestrians. Every cluster of row houses has a park that can used by residents.


Zon e d i a gra m There are three zone types, such as residential, commercial, and public facilities. Commercial areas are located in the main road which is passed by public transportation. Shophouses are located in the residential main road.

Dra i na ge dia gra m The drainage system is placed underground in the back of houses and under pedestrian routes. The flow of drainage follows the different height of the land. .

Nei ghb orh ood Sec urity d ia gram The neighborhood security systems (sistem keamanan lingkungan siskamling) consists of security stations and security posts. There are two security stations, that located in row houses and walk-up apartment. The security posts are located in the entrance and out of residences, in every cluster, and on the first floor of walk-up apartment.

C I P A E R A MIXED-USE BUILDING Mentor: Ir. Baskoro Tedjo, MSEB, Ph.D. Nowadays, the main focus of city development is to produce many blocks. Without urban design rules, this city development will make massive city blocks and reduce mobile connectivity, especially for pedestrians. Studies say that when combining with mixed-use planning, a network that permeable will increase chances for society to walk in their business without using their vehicle. (LUTRAQ, 1997, Kopelmen et al., 2007). Because of that, the city needs to have high permeability especially for pedestrians. The main function of Cipaera mixed-use building is apartment and shopping mall. But, this building also consists co-working space, rental offices, and sports facilities. The site is located between Kosambi market that sell souvenirs of Bandung, shopping area, and housing. The idea was to stimulate the pedestrian from one place to the other place by pedestrian way.

G ree n s pa ce Green areas are maximized on the ground floor and amenities floor (4th floor). There is also provided green areas which is able to be used as working and playing area on the third floor.

Perm eable Permeable is applied to make the entrance on every side. Besides that, the entrance can access 24-hours because there are no permanent doors in this place.

Sun li ght Morning sunlight will be exposed to every residents places because every units have a view to north or south.
