A L I T T L E S O M E T H I N G A B O U T M Y S E L F I call myself a designer as it’s a nice umbrella term for the web design / print design / illustration / branding work that I do. I consider myself to be extremely fortunate because my ‘job’, such as it is, simply entails doing what I love. I’ve been designing beautiful graphics for print and the web for many years. I enjoy turning complex problems into simple, beautiful and intuitive interface designs. I am a graduate of lauded engineering program at the Sathyabama University at India & web & graphic design program at the Georgian College at Barrie, ON. At first I intended to be a computer science engineer and went to school to become just that. 4 years went by and I graduated, only to realize that I want to be something else. One thing lead to another and I came across Adobe Photoshop. I googled more and fell genuinely in love with Adobe Creative Suite. I made some life changing decisions and flew to Canada to be the web and graphic designer, which, turned out to be the best decision I ever made. I was a full-time student, as well as a freelance graphic designer. It lead me to work with people from all over the world & design graphics and websites for many amazing clients. I started taking a keen interest in keeping myself & my skills updated to face any design challenge that was given to me and also to meet every need of my clients. For building graphics and websites, my weapons of choice are Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign. Currently, I’m teaching myself, Adobe AfterEffects. At the moment, I work alongside with many other talented individuals, in the marketing industry. It is such a rewarding experience to be working in this field, allowing every day to be a new & exciting opportunity to learn something new.
