Timeless architecture is often considered to be something which has been designed in such an intentionally reduced manner to endure time. Therefore architecture deals as much with the future as with the past. This project explores the concept of timelessness at its technical development, reaching for a monumental scale, a kind of scenographic.

To consider this throughout the design process, involves experimentation with the materials which the program topic allows us to think about, as well as the systems of circulation that will make possible solutions not only for this dynamics but other topics in the future might be function.

7

Where?

The complex located west of the city, lying on the eastern slope of the western mountain range. the periphery urban, it is a site in an advanced state of environmental degradation. Erosion of origin predominantly anthropic; It is due to the abundant coal mines, of which 1.500 tons of ore were extracted per week. Responsible technical exploitation of the erosion of the hill was suspended since 1980. The arid panorama has been constituted as the dominant feature of the landscape

The public space is at a superior level from the street so that it will create isolation from the high traffic street while it will highlight the views.

How?

Transforming exhibitions

The overhead crane easily transforms the space, by moving the mobile platforms, linearly supported on the fixed circulations (viereendel beams), in as many ways as possible according to the needs of the exhibition.

The transverse distance of each pavilion (24 m) obeys the maximum distance in which a person can recognize another 18

I understand that an investigative culture where ideas are born takes place in healthy, creative and enthusiastic environments. The construction of these spaces occurs through communication, discussion and the sense of community, built by the research population, curious people and students. Through tracking the contextual dynamics of its implementation, it is sought, through a meeting place as common as the "street", to arouse the creativity and enthusiasm that innovative ideas in the research field need.

The proposal develops 600 residential units in a large area without a specific location. Building experiences, relationships, activities and meeting basic needs, become simple but decisive activities, so that a healthy environment, where building fragments of life, takes place. In times of change, where the population density questions new forms, the residential complex will weave from patterns, it will explore the character that different environments can adopt, to achieve environments shaped by change and build an intimate metropolis.

City configurations

The location and environmental conditions of the traditionals cities surroundings — transient population, urban noise, light pollution, security and other externalities — are suggested by the project itself which get to manage secure, quiet, strategic mixing usages that would best serve the needs of the community.
