01 COLLECTIVE HOUSING
The purpose of this project was to develop a residential complex implemented in an area mainly surrounded by nature. The site is located at the outskirts of the city Iasi, in proximity to the airport, area well known for its natural diversity. The idea of this project was to create the possibility of this green life to visually become part of the living environment. This was made possible by the way the complex was built, by the discontinuity of the buildings. The created interior spaces are another factor that permits nature to enter the environment, but also, they represent a sense of confort for the residents, that separates the public from the private areas. The residential complex includes several blocks of apartments of different heights, to emphasize variation, several leisure spaces : cafes, shopping, bookstores and office spaces. The composition of the residiential complex is made of three modules, with small variations on the ground floor, and one taller building that grants a sense of verticality to the created image.

02 BUSINESS CENTER
The project is situated in Iasi, in an area known for its royal stables in an older period of the city. Now, most of these stables have been ,either transoformed into other public spaces and services, or simply abandoned. Therefore, the purpose of the project is to create an environment suitable for public activities in the area. The building itself consists of several types of office spaces, class A and premium, as well as a series of areas dedicated towards the general public: cafes, restaurant, amphitheatres, bank, post office, supermarket etc. The ensemble was made by the overlay of several rectangular volumes, creating two main interior spaces used for leisure, relaxation and socialisation.
03 THEATRE
The projects purpose is to reorganise an industrial area in the city of Suceava, transforming it into the cultural part of the neighbourhood. Apart from the 2 theatre rooms available (a large amphitheate and a room for experimental theatre), the building can offer a range of leisure activities, such as cafes, art gallery and book shop. The theatre was concieved to allow visitors to follow a certain route on the building itself, leading to an outdoor amphitheatre and a place where the view can be enjoyed.

04 ECOLOGICAL HOUSE
The purpose of this project was to create a sustainable home for a family of four, with living room, dining room, kitchen , bedrooms and a technical area. The building becomes part of the landscape it was placed in by using green roofs which are both esthetically enhancing and ecological. Many strategies have been used in order to increase the energetic efficiency of the house. First of all, the thermical insulation used for this building prevents heat transfer and is made of materiales that have no impact on the environment. In this case, the insulation is included in the system of bricks used - sawdust and concrete. Windows, as well, have been protected from heat transfer by increasing its thickness and also by inserting a reflective material between the two sheets of glass that keeps the house warm during the winter and cool during the summer. Very important when designing a passive house is the way the building is placed in relation with the cardinal directions, most windows being directed towards the south which also creates amazing views from all over the house. Apart from keeping energy inside the house, it is also necessary to use certain technologies that produce energy of all types : photovoltaic spheres placed in the garden, geothermal system, solar pannels and a water recycking system through the green roof.

06 HOTEL
This project was designed during the time spend studying in A Coruna, Spain and it required creating a small hotel near the historical area of the town. The hotel actually represents the transition between old and new, between the historical part and the new constructed zone. The idea behind the project was to design an object that has similar elements with the surrounding buildings. That was achieved by using stone as the main material, easy to optain in the area and very durable in rainy weather conditions which is common to the Galician territory. However, contrary to the buildings around, the hotel benefits from large windows that grants natural light to all interior spaces. The hotel consists of two main parts. The first one, which is on the upper part, is the public area, with lobby, waiting room, restaurant and a multiporpose room. The lower level is opened towards a small outdoor sitting area. The second part of the hotel, the sleeping area, is where the rooms were placed and where a ramp connects both the lower part of the site to the main entrance of the hotel, and it can also be used as a direct controlled entrance towards the rooms.

05 INDIVIDUAL HOUSE
This project was design in the 2nd year of university speciffically for a contest for 2nd year students of all Architecture Universities in Romania. The idea was to design a single family house in a historical part of the city Brasov, known for its typical roof shapes and materials. The house was to be places between to already existing buildings, on a slope terrain, the challenge being, not only creating similarities between the design house and the surrouding ones, but also to use the site as an advantage to the construction. The living room, dining room and kitchen of the house were placed at the first floor in relation to the street entrance towards the yard, the sleeping areas being on the ground and second floor. The garden created has a strong sense of intimacy , being enclosed on all sides.
07 HIGHSCHOOL
This project, situated in Iasi, is about designing a highschool in a populated area, with heavy traffic, making it important to solve the noise polution issue. Therefore, the highschool itself has been distanced from the main street that encloses the site, its shape creating an interior space where the leisure activities can take place. Apart from classrooms, the highschool contains a space used for displaying art pieces made by the students, a cafe and a library that overlooks the courtyard. The design tries to bind nature with the highschool itself, and also emphasises its role in the neighbourhood through the balance of glass and concrete.
