First Floor Plan
•
Underground floor: Designing a stage underground relies on topographical reasons and can be diaphragmatically
•
First floor: Left wing is for employers. Right wing is for visitors with classrooms and museum shop.
• Second floor: Gallary space The two-story lobby is hollowed out to allow better sunlight into the building •
A special light leakage design was made in the roof of the hall. But only in the lobby, because I didn’t want to interfere with the gallery lighting.

First floor: Women restroom and Men restroom and shower spaces
•
Second floor: “party space”. • It is a rest space especially provided for the people after long time driving or shopping. People can have a hign view to enjoy the green trees and take a fresh breath. • • It will have comfortable tables and chairs for people. • It doesn’t need to consider about the spectial air condition of restroom because I make it absolutly open space.
•
For the slope roof, I design a special beam system to support it. In the raining day, the rain will run down the slope, creating a special curtain of water. Moreover, there is a larger rectangle skylight to provide the shadow of wood beam.

Project 3 Petal Pavilion second year studio lab This project is going to design a pavilion in the park near a lake. My idea followed the flower shape. I design the shape of roof and sitting area like patal and leaves. With many skylight on the roof, they provide natural light and shadow for the stage.
Study model Idea of skylight
Idea sketch
I design ‘H’ shape as the stage with diffrent height, seats in four directions and a compex roof. The problem is the overall shap is too coplex. Hence, I changed the stage shape to the simple square. The four sides of the auditorium spread out like petals, echoing the shape of the roof, as I drew in my draft.

Idea: • • • •
On the roof, I designed many protruding triangular skylights They provide special light and shadow for the stage. In order not to block the view of the audience, I considered the position of the support columns and designed the structure of the beams.
