THE GREAT SM OKEY M OUNTAINS WHERE TO SPEND YOUR NEXT VACATION

Home to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in America. Located in the Foothills of East Tennessee, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville offer a wide variety of things to do and see. Over 10 million visitors come to The Smokies each year to enjoy all that this beautiful and majestic area has to offer. From kids to adults, there is something for everyone here. Wedding Chapels abound. There were more weddings performed in Gatlinburg than in any other city in the Country last year, including Las Vegas, NV. Dollywood, a family theme park, is one of the #1 attractions in the state of Tennessee. The end of the 1998 season saw the park become the 27th largest theme park in the country, Dollywood also ranks as one of the top 50 parks in the world in terms of attendance. Ridge upon ridge of forest straddles the border between North Carolina and Tennessee in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. World renowned for its diversity of plant and animal life, the beauty of its ancient mountains, and the quality of its remnants of Southern Appalachian mountain culture, this is America's most visited national park. Great Smoky Mountains is the most biodiverse park in the National Park system. Biological diversity, or ?biodiversity?, means the number and variety of different types of animals, plants, fungi, and other organisms in a location or habitat. Encompassing over 800 square miles in the Southern Appalachian Mountains, no other area of equal size in a temperate climate can match the park's amazing diversity. Over 19,000 species have been documented in the park and scientists believe an additional 80,000-100,000 species may live here. PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

REGINA M IXON

Regina uses her communications whether spoken or in books to capture the essence of the human spirit by delivering messages of hope, encouragement, inspiration, purpose, faith, and courage to mankind throughout the world Regina aims to inspire others through her stories of faith, hope, tenacity, hard work, courage and love. Her interest in books and writing prompted her to start a publishing company--REGS Books. Her interest in giving back to the community prompted her to start God?s Storehouse Ministries, a community-based non-profit organization.

Regina hopes to leave a legacy as a woman who not only talked the talk, but walked the walk, resulting in people going from ?I Can?t? to ?I Can?! Hailing from Minden, Louisiana and currently residing in Carson, California, Regina is the proud mother of two children: Kendrick Thomas and Emily Mixon and the grandmother of three: Kimmerlie Thomas, Khrystal Regina Thomas and Jordan D. Gilliam.

Regina has worked for the federal government for over 30 years, starting at the bottom and working positions from a Summer Worker to an Operations Supervisor. She currently holds the position of a Claim Specialist.

An avid reader, Regina has had a love for books since an early age. As early as age 7 or 8, Regina recalls her desire to have a massive library as she realized books could take her places she otherwise may not go and allow her to develop as a lifetime learner.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Regina has penned and published several books of her own. Titles include: To God be the Glory: From Brokenness to Wholeness, Pursuing Your Purpose with Passion, Glory Wind Beneath Wings and Have I Told You Lately that I Love You? Regina is currently in the process of having released, To God be the Glory: The Manifested Glory of God with contributions from novice writers? Courtney Williams and Roz Roberts. In addition to those published for her, Regina has published books for Authors Mark Brine and Felicia Tatum. Her grandson, Jordan D. Gilliam, age 8, has penned his first children?s book: 2nd Grade Spy Kids and the Missing Skateboard which will be released in August 2016. As the founder of God?s Storehouse Ministries, REGS Books Publishing, and Regina Mixon Enterprises, Regina aims, in all that she does, to serve. The slogan for REGS Books is ? We Are Here to Serve You! Actually Regina states this is the slogan for all of her businesses, both for-profit and non-profit.

At one point, Regina was the host of a radio show? Making the Best of Today. Though short-lived, it provided yet another platform to encourage others. Regina has been interviewed by and heard on radio stations in various cities and states throughout the United States. Over the years, God has blessed Regina by placing amazing people in her life to help her to go and grow. There are too many to name individually, however she thanks God daily for each and every one and takes none of them for granted. She does however make honorable mention to some below.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Regina attributes her longevity in pursuing her purpose with passion to several people. First off, her love for God and her complete and total trust in Him has sustained her as she?s gone through her wilderness experience to get to a point to where she can prayerfully provide hope to those going through theirs. Secondly, she attributes her genuine love for people and desire to see all live the lives that God intended. Next she thanks God for the numerous pastors, teachers, mentors, co-workers and a special thanks to Felonesecia West, Della Mixon, Annette Jones Davidson, Founder of Women of Purpose and Determination, as with the entire group and Gospel Recording Artist, Angela Wills. Each of these has poured into her life, supported and encouraged her, and opened doors in such great ways. Another person very instrumental, was and continues to be, Pastor W. Terrell Snead, II, Pastor of Worship Center Community Church in Compton, CA, who encouraged her and wrote the forward to her first book. Pastor Ron C. Hill of the Love & Unity Christian Fellowship of Compton, CA; Pastor Charlie B. Greene, Pastor of the St. Matthew Baptist Church of Los Angeles; Pastor Rodney Williams, Pastor of King Solomon Baptist Church of Sibley, LA; Pastor Charlie Winzer, former Pastor of the New Light Baptist Church? these pastors and more afforded her the opportunity to develop and utilize her gifts. She attributes her success as a person, as with her ministry, to her upbringing in the City of Minden, Louisiana. It was there she saw modeled families coming together, praying together, playing together, learning together, working together, and growing together. ?And of course, there were the occasional falling outs. Just keeping it real!? It was there the village was in full force. PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Theft is the result of taking something which doesn?t belong to an individual. Theft commonly occurs when there is lack or greed. There are those whom have great financial support but desire to steal and take from the church. So Let us get some history and background regarding money. Money was here from Biblical times. Matthew 22:20-22 states that 20: And he saith unto them, whose is this image and superscription? 21 They say unto him, Caesar 's. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar 's; and unto God the things that are God's. 22 When they had heard these words, they marveled, and left him, and went their way. In these scriptures; we see that Jesus tells them to render unto to Caesar which is do unto Caesar. Caesar ?s imprint was on this coin(money). People have done many things which is inappropriate due to money. Here are some defining terms of money. According to Dictionary.com, they are: 1.any circulating medium of exchange, including coins, paper money, and demand deposits. 2. paper money. 3. gold, silver, or other metal in pieces of convenient form stamped by public authority and issued as a medium of exchange and measure of value. 4. any article or substance used as a medium of exchange, measure of wealth, or means of payment, as checks on demand deposit or cowrie. 5. a particular form or denomination of currency. 6. money of account. 7. capital to be borrowed, loaned, or invested: mortgage money Money has supplied and will supply many things for the nation. We need money to pay bills, purchase items such as food and other necessary things. Money has caused many to error within the Body of Christ as well as in the workforce. It is the temptation of the money.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

As we stated earlier that some may not have a need for the money. It is the desire to be in control and to be greedy. Embezzlement is an act of dishonestly withholding assets for the purpose of conversion (theft) of such assets, by one or more persons to whom the assets were entrusted, either to be held or to be used for specific purposes. Embezzlement is a type of financial fraud, e.g. a lawyer might embezzle funds from the trust accounts of his or her clients; a financial advisor might embezzle the funds of investors; and a husband or a wife might embezzle funds from a bank account jointly held with the spouse. Embezzlement usually is a premeditated crime performed methodically, with the embezzler taking precautions to conceal his or her activities of the criminal conversion of the property of another person, because the embezzlement is occurring without the knowledge or the consent of the affected person. Often it involves the trusted individual embezzling only a small proportion or fraction of the total of the funds or resources he/she receives or controls; in an attempt to minimize the risk of the detection of the misallocation of the funds or resources. When successful, embezzlements continue for years (or even decades) without detection. It is often only when a relatively large proportion of the funds are needed at one time; or they are called upon for another use; or, when a major institutional reorganization (the closing or moving of a plant or business office, or a merger/acquisition of a firm) requires the complete and independent accounting of all real and liquid assets; prior to, or concurrent with, the reorganization, that the victims realize the funds, savings, assets or other resources, are missing and that they have been duped by the embezzler.

WHAT'S REALLY IN YOUR WALLET What this money management tool can do for you... A money crisis can happen to anyone as a result of a layoff, illness, death of a family member, divorce or overspending. If you?re in crisis, you may postpone making hard financial decisions until creditors begin calling. It?s easy to feel overwhelmed when a number of creditors are making demands or threats. Setting clear priorities about who gets paid first can help you overcome ?debt paralysis? and deal with your finances in a positive way.

Step 1. Stop all unnecessary spending. If you have pre-authorized monthly direct payments or money transfers, decide which you must keep and discontinue the others. Step 2. Make a new spending plan based on your new financial realties. Use ?Saving-spending Plan Worksheet and Instructions? (UT Extension publications SP613-A and SP613-B) to determine your household income and necessary spending. Step 3. Determine priorities for the money you have available. If you can?t pay everything, use the following guidelines to set priorities:

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Level 1 Priorities ? Household essentials. Food - Food expenses can be reduced by smart shopping and not eating out, but you must continue to include money for food in your budget. Medical essentials - Medication necessary to control health issues is a top priority. - Keeping health insurance coverage is especially important if you or someone in your household has a chronic health problem. Housing and utilities - If you are a renter, you?ll need to stay current with your rent. - If you are a homeowner, in addition to making mortgage payments, you?ll need to stay current on any home equity loans.

Level 2 Priorities ? Legal obligations. - Child support - Student loans Taxes - Legal judgments Level 3 Priorities ? Consumer debt. - Installment loans for appliances, furniture or electronics - Credit card accounts - Bills for medical or personal services. Step 4. Communicate with creditors. After you?ve determined your payment priorities, contact your creditors to let them know of your situation. If you can?t pay their debt as agreed, propose an alternative. Ask to skip payments and have them added to the end of your payment schedule or reduce payment amounts.

CHURCH EM BEZZLEM ENT? PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Tip: Contact creditors in writing! There are several advantages to contacting creditors by letter rather than by phone. - A letter can show that you are making good-faith efforts to pay off the debt. - Written notice is required for legal protection under the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act. The act allows you to request that creditors not contact you further regarding an account. - Communicating by letter helps you avoid feeling threatened by a collector ?s verbal threats. - Writing provides time to think more carefully before making promises to pay and helps you avoid agreeing to a repayment plan that is not feasible. - When things are in writing, there is less chance of miscommunication or misunderstanding.

What if you can?t find the address? If you don?t have the name or address of a representative of the creditor or collection agency, it may be necessary to do Internet or phone research to determine who should receive a letter. Computerized phone menus and automated customer service systems may make this difficult. These suggestions may help: Look on any correspondence you received regarding the account for a customer service or collections mailing address. - If a collector calls, ask for his/her name and address. Tell the collector that you will be writing the company immediately regarding your account and end the phone conversation as soon as possible. PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

CELEBRATING JEWISH FALL FEASTS PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

JEWISH FEASTING

Early in the history of Israel, as Leviticus 23 reveals, God ordained a yearly cycle of ?appointed times? to meet with His people in a special way. Each of the Feasts teaches a different aspect of the nature of God and His plan for the world. Through these appointments or mo?adim we see prophetic glimpses of a later redemption that would come through the Messiah during His earthly ministry and upon His return. These mo?adim are understood by some in the Jewish community as mikrah, which means ?rehearsal? or ?recital.? Paul tells us in Colossians 2:17 that all of these special days have been appointed by God to reveal the Messiah to the world as part of God?s great plan for His creation. ?These [feast days] are a shadow of the things that were to come. The reality, however, is found in [Messiah].? While the first three Feasts (the Spring Feasts), Passover, First Fruits, and Shavuot (Pentecost), are directly fulfilled with the first coming of Messiah, the Fall Feasts represent events yet to be fulfilled and are directly connected to His return and Israel?s promised national salvation. Let?s take a look at each of them:

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Rosh Hashanah means ?head of the year ? and is the Jewish New Year. The term Rosh Hashanah is not mentioned in the Scriptures, however. Originally known as Yom Teruah, or ?Day of Teruah,? and also called The Feast of Trumpets, this holy day was instituted in Leviticus 23:24?25, and throughout the history of Israel it was to take place on the first day of the seventh month.

Over the course of the history of Israel, the rabbis transformed it into its present status as the start of the New Year based on their belief that this was the exact day when God created the world. Along with Yom Kippur, they are, today, the most important days on the traditional Jewish calendar.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Yom Kippur is probably the most important holiday of the Jewish year. Many Jews who do not observe any other Jewish custom will refrain from work, fast and/or attend synagogue services on this day. Yom Kippur occurs on the 10th day of Tishri. The holiday is instituted at Leviticus 23:26 et seq. The name ?Yom Kippur ? means ?Day of Atonement,? and that pretty much explains what the holiday is. It is a day set aside to ?afflict the soul,? to atone for the sins of the past year. In Days of Awe, I mentioned the ?books? in which G-d inscribes all of our names. On Yom Kippur, the judgment entered in these books is sealed.

This day is, essentially, your last appeal, your last chance to change the judgment, to demonstrate your repentance and make amends. As I noted in Days of Awe, Yom Kippur atones only for sins between man and G-d, not for sins against another person. To atone for sins against another person, you must first seek reconciliation with that person, righting the wrongs you committed against them if possible. That must all be done before Yom Kippur

We all know that a healthy lifestyle is beneficial for everyone. Making healthy choices in the life, creating a positive mental state, eating healthy food and doing regular physical activities are all very vital factors for overall well-being. When you maintain a balanced life that includes a healthy mind, body. And soul, you will find that the external events of your life have much less effect on your happiness and success in life. Your health does not just make your body look better and help toward off disease and disorders, it provides a solid foundation to the reality that you can create a better life and it doesn?t have anything to do with what is happening outside of you. Taking control of your health is most effective when you take a look at yourself with a holistic perspective. The holistic approach to health takes into account the complete person, their physical, psychological and social needs, which directly relate to their spiritual selves. Basically, you would improve your overall well-being by integrating aspects of every part of yourself and by not just eating right and getting exercise. Your mind needs stimulation, you need social interaction and solid relationships, and you need to nurture your spiritual side along with honoring the operation of your body?s physical aspects.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

When someone desires to improve their health there is always a much more long-term commitment. when they have made a whole lifestyle change rather than just deciding to try a new diet for 2 weeks. You really shouldn?t restrict foods or participate in a rigorous exercise regime for short periods of time. Although it seems to be a popular trend to try out the next new diet or be a part of the next ?exercise craze?, it isn?t these short bursts of diet and exercise changes that provide lasting health benefits.

You will be much better served by taking the time and effort to truly look at your whole self, preparing yourself mentally, and gaining lots of knowledge about healthy living, gradually adding positive habits and slowly eliminating harmful habits, and discovering ways to nurture your inner self as well.

As you are looking at the areas of your life involving food and exercise, don?t leave out a vital component of a complete life- your spiritual health. Nurturing your mind, body and spirit is a package deal. You can?t connect with your true self and commit to a renewed life of health without nourishing your spiritual side.

Now you will thing what is spiritual life and how to nurture it? here I say! That we are all on a journey in this life to do great things. These great things are big and small and can have an effect on millions of people or just one person. It is a lifelong quest to figure out what your life purpose is. Discovering what rally motivates you and gives you the energy to be always growing is a part of your spiritual path. It doesn?t matter what religion you follow or where your beliefs lie, there are certain elements to FOCUS on to find your place and discover what significance your life plays in the world around you. Your inner growth is the most important growth in your life, not only because it is what forms your perspective (which gives you a positive or negative take on your surroundings), but also because it is how you will discover what you were created for. There is nothing more peaceful than knowing that you are living your life the way you were designed to. The five areas you need to focus on to live a life of purpose and meaningful.

1. Have f ait h in you r per son al pow er :

This can be related to one?s faith in a specific religion, but faith is not limited to religion. Believe that you have been given special qualities and that there is a universal source that connects one to all. Believe that you are capable of doing great and satisfying things and that you will get through all those ups and downs in life. The most important things have to be believed to be seen.

2. Have pat ien ce in you r w ait f or t h e r igh t t h in gs at t h e r igh t t im e: Patience is a virtue and not easily come by, which makes for lots of opportunities to grow in this area. We want things right when we thing of them. Instant gratification is mainstream in society and it seems that it should be that way in our spiritual life too, but unfortunately we are not here to make the rules, we are here to discover ?The Good Life?.

3. Gen er at e love con t in u ou sly abou t ever yt h in g: To love under any circumstances really is the greatest achievement of all and it is really not that hard, once you have few years of practice under you belt. Develop a pr ayer pr act ice:

Don?t worry about all those rules out there about how to pray. You just need to have the intention to connect with your creator and be aware of what you are thankful for, what you did like in your life and what you did like for others. Say it out loud, think it, or even write it down in your very own prayer journal. Just put it out in the universe and be in comfort that you have been heard. 5. Be aw ar e of cr eat ion : Nature is all around us, providing, nurturing, and sharing. Take time to spend quiet moments in natural surroundings and be aware of how perfectly nature lives. REJECTI ONS WOM EN FA CE I N THE CHURCH PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

Why do women face so much rejection in the church? How can women break down these barriers and indifferences? How can women overcome the pain and hurt from the church? What does the Bible say verses the full understanding of women in ministry? The scriptures teach us in II. Timothy 2:15 that; ?Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.? Clergy women should always have a study life of the Word of God. This is quite embarrassing that if we are sent out to minister and we are stumbling over the scriptures. When we study the scriptures, we make God proud of us. The purpose of having this knowledge will also give us a tool to fight the devil and his angels with. How can we defeat the enemy and we don?t study the Word. When Jesus was led to the wilderness by God; the devil tempted Jesus Christ.

Jesus didn?t waste His time arguing or debating with the devil. He just put the Word of God in Him. When we study can also allow us to help other women and men whom may be struggling in their Christian walk or studies with God.

It is a great sense that you will feel if someone comes to you and inquire of how you could help them in some issues that may have occurred. You will need to im-partake with the Holy Spirit to have clarity of the scriptures in your study. Many have stated that if it is not in the Bible then it is not truth. But there are some things which will e revealed by The Holy Spirit. For example: The woman whom had the issue of blood for eighteen long years. Well we as women know that is any women lose blood this is a hysterectomy complications. The scriptures don?t say that, but the Holy Spirit will reveal that. PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

We must take our time and study the Word of God and God will answer things that we are confused on. We can also build a closer relationship with Him and His Son. The more we become effective in the Word; we become and learn more about God. Never utilize your skills and knowledge of the Word of God to be seen or to prove how smart and versed you are in the scriptures.

Why do women face in rejection in ministry? Well let?s explore this. Eve was the first woman whom made the first mistake of eating the fruit in the Bible. Although Adam was right there and ate of the fruit also; society has blamed Eve as the originator of sin. Adam was fault as well. God had made him leader over the woman and head of the household. Now, being made head of the household does not and did not mean control. Adam was to protect and provide for the home. This is where men today perceive the concept of men being in control to their wives or the submissive rule. God made Adam and Eve to be equal towards one another as husband and wife. Man has taken this concept out of content and has been controlling women ever since. This is one of the perceptions why women face rejection in Clergy leadership. Men feel that women should still live as the days of old. The traditions of what women were made to do was cook, clean, iron, sew, and other things which are pertinent for me to say.

I can remember being called into ministry. I was accepted as a female in ministry until the lead clergy began having issues with his own personal insignificant others and then he began badgering all the women in the church.

PROFESSIONAL PASTORS

He would make it a point to always place her on the spot of most his sermons and she was like a transparent glass before the congregation. He removed all of the women form the greeting (ushers position) and replace the women with men. They had no knowledge as to perform these tasks. Why? Women are usually the ones whom have the nice candor.

God had promoted me to another position within in the church and he complied with the Holy Spirit. He tried to make me quit by open rebuking me across the pulpit. He utilized every strategy that he could to make me give up my gift. Some clergy will try and kill the gifts?and talents in which you have stored inside.

But we as women must know who has called and appointed us. By no means do our ministry teach other clergy whether male or female to disobey their leader or clergy. However, we must have knowledge of what God is saying ands if we are stifled in our gifts and talents, and then we know this is not of God. This was a pain for me, but I endured it until one day I met this other clergy for coffee one day. I went to meet with her about something else and God actually set the meet up for me to exit the church. She told me that the church I was in had a curse upon it. You may say what is this?

A curse is something that God places on a church/ministry/ or clergy whom is rebellious and control to his people. This is what this pastor did. He controlled all of his leaders and the members. It was like going to church every Sunday in bondage. Once this clergy presented this to from the throne of God; I didn?t have a need to ask God or petition God once I got home..
