-BIO LEOPOLDO DÍAZ-TRUJILLO ARREOLA
Leopoldo Díaz-Trujillo Arreola (Toluca, Estado de México; 3rd September 1989) is a young photojournalist, documentary photographer and Mexican visual artist. His career began when at age of 19 he collaborated with Juan Carlos Morales a renowned editor and photojournalist. Currently, he works as official photographer of the Presidency of the Republic. Studies Leopoldo is graduated in Photography from the Centro Universitario de Comunicación (CUC) of the City of Mexico. He attended several specialization courses of documentary photography, photojournalism, prepress and digital retouch. Beginnings In 2008 emerged his love for photography when he collaborated with the team of Juan Carlos Morales and he served as third assistant. After a while, with effort and discipline, he was promoted as second photographer. He worked as assistant and photographer in many publishing projects of the Mayor Collection for the Biblioteca Mexiquense del Bicentenario. In the same way, he participated in numerous political campaigns at local, state and federal levels. In 2010, his photographs were part of diverse projects for his hometown as “Toluca: alma, vida y corazón” by Editorial Pramadi. Furthermore, took part in media with the youth journal Mi Kapricho, Vital a health journal and the newspaper Nuestro Mundo. In other hand, as freelance he captured the official image of Union Leaders, Municipal Presidents and Local Deputies. Present Currently he is official photographer of the Presidency of the Republic and also of the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, whom has accompanied from his governorship, period in which he published constantly for journals and newspapers of national and international importance, likewise for digital media.

Personal Works In addition to his official obligations, Leopoldo develops alternative projects in collaboration with designers and creatives from different disciplines; from photographic exhibitions to short films and others, each one has an artistic, cultural or social approach.
