During a challenging time that has left none of us untouched, we’re looking forward with great confidence. The Hochfirst, with its spacious architecture and distinctive service concept, was seemingly made to make your holiday both pleasant and safe. Ample free space for each individual guest has always been part of our standard repertoire. We will also implement additional hygiene measures in all areas of the hotel in order to offer you the greatest possible safety in your home away from home. In summer, we will again carry out renovation work in the hotel to surprise you with glamorous highlights. The Beauty & Spa area, for example, is being completely renovated and new double rooms and luxury suites are being created, once again taking Alpine lifestyle to the next level. On November 19th, we will start the new season in Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, the most snow-secure winter sports resort in the Alps. The ski resort is one of the most exclusive in the Alpine region and top-quality skiing means 112 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes and 25 high-performance lifts that distribute winter sports enthusiasts comfortably and without long waiting times throughout the extensive ski resort. That way you can enjoy plenty of space for long downhill runs on the sunny slopes between 1,800 m and 3,080 m. Our winter journal is designed to get you in the mood for a special winter break. The "Santé" vinothek has been curated for this express purpose: This impressive venue boasts a stylish setting for wine tastings with our sommelier or for an exclusive private dinner with fondue or gourmet menu. The table, which is made of old oak-barrel wood, is one of a kind. It was crafted exclusively for the Hochfirst out of 6,500 litre Zweigelt barrels sourced from the Domäne Wachau Dürnstein winery. In our walk in wine vinothek, you will find rarities from the best wine-growing regions in the world.

Hochfirst’s***** Alpine Spa has truly earned its name. The exclusive and spacious 1,500 m² facility offers everything the body and mind need to relax and regenerate: warming sauna facilities, a Tyrolean sauna hut, pleasant steam baths, peaceful relaxation zones, adventure showers, beauty treatments and relaxing massages. A 220 m² indoor-outdoor pool provides holidaymakers with a prickling contrast between the warm indoor temperatures and crisp winter air. A waterfall, rock whirlpools and underwater massage chairs make experiencing the elements truly magical.

The "Spiegelkogl� double rooms and the luxurious “mountain suites" are being furnished in a modern, elegant chalet style. Meanwhile, the artful woodwork and noble interior flatter the senses. The 3,424 m Spiegelkogl mountain, which towers above the end of the valley in snowy white, inspired the name. 2

Just outside, admire the towering mountains from the south-facing balcony.
