With the chandelier as a centre, we offer lighting collections that enrich and complete the decor in private homes and public places. The chandelier expresses generosity and abundance.At Nuura we aim to reinterpret the chandelier, building on the Nordic design tradition Using new technology and carefully selected materials, we strive to create aesthetic lighting that is beneficial to our well-being. Around the chandelier we unfold entire collections of lamps, spanning from single pendants to larger chandeliers. Each lamp within a family of light features differences yet commonalities with the other lamps in the collection, maintaining the variation and repetition as seen in nature. The product families offer the possibility to create coherence and calmness in the lighting design of a room. With inspiration from Nordic nature, we aim for a simple, yet sensuous expression making useoforganicshapesandnaturalcolours–thisisourwayofhonouring nature and light.
On a bright autumn day, as artist and designer Jessica Vedel strolled through the forest, watching the sunlight dance through the foliage, she had a vision: a lamp series that embodies the beauty of nature. Florii is a collection of three lights inspired by the graceful descent of leaves from their branches, their character and expression shifting with the light. A harmonious union of organic aesthetics and modern design sensibilities, each lamp radiates a soothing elegance that seamlessly integrates with any interior space.
Jessica Vedel’s design process for the Florii collection was neat and artistic,as with many of her previous custom-made designs.First,the lamps were hand-drawn and folded in paper to achieve the desired expression before being shaped in powder-coated metal with an opal glass diffusing the light source. The Florii lamps emerge with natural grace, creating a captivating and artistic expression that draws the eye towards their soft, organic forms.

The Miira collection features a simple and timeless design. The neatly mouth-blown glass and processed metal create a balanced and deep expression. The collection revolves around the chandelier and includes a series of lights.It is suitable for various contexts, from private homes to larger interior decorations and projects.
The Liila collection is created around the modular wall chandelier, Liila 12. The idea behind the collection is to create wall and ceiling lighting,withglassasthefocalpoint.Themouth-blownglassglobesare mounted on metal discs, giving the glass a floating appearance and creating lighting with references to the summer sun. From the collection’s centrepiece, the series unfolds into smaller wall chandeliers and single lamps for the wall and ceiling.

The Sasi collection features a delicate sense of aesthetics, soft design language, and the use of round and harmonious shapes. The larger, rounded lampshade is made with a satin finish to carry and emphasize indirect light, while the lamp’s smaller shade creates detailed reflections of the surroundings and light in the room due to its mirror effect. The subtle contrast in surface finish from the larger to the smaller shade is a crucial design motif in the collection. The integrated LED light source also provides high-quality lighting and is easy to replace.
The Apiales collection draws inspiration from flowers and childhood memories. It includes single pendants, wall lamps, and chandeliers with 6, 9, or 18 mouth-blown glass globes. The chandelier’s arms unfold like flower stalks from a specially produced canopy. The collection is carefully crafted without visible screws or welds. With different sizes and variants, it is suitable for various uses in private homes and public spaces.
Design Sofie Refer
Paolo Rizzatto, an internationally renowned architect with a long and distinguished career in lighting design and a fascination with chandeliers, created the Rizzatto collection. His inspiration came from Oskar Schlemmer’s ‘Triadisches Ballett’ from 1924. The light unfolds from its source and diffuses through the mouth-blown opal white glass, creating soft and comfortable quality lighting.
The Blossi collection draws inspiration from the golden light of autumn, where sunlight reflects on colourful leaves in the forest bed. Blossi is designed to provide a warm and delicate light. The rounded mouth-blown glass shade and simple expression draw on motifs from the Nordic design tradition. From the chandelier, the collection evolves into wall, table, and floor lamps. A specially developed LED disc is positioned to reflect light in the mouth-blown glass shade, creating a soft and indirect light.
The Anoli collection is inspired by the serene beauty of raindrops on a rainy September day. The series features carefully crafted dropletsandawarmexpression.Itcomprisesneatlymouth-blownglass pendants,hand-paintedwithauniquelustretogivetheglassitsgolden colour.The inner part of the pendant,where the light source is placed, is designed to resemble a droplet,highlighting the mouth-blown glass design. The collection includes single pendants and chandeliers that can be customised for private homes and larger, exclusive projects.
The Anoli Collection is updated with new spot designs that capture the beauty of water droplets in their gently tapered forms. Radiating tranquillity and capturing the beauty of nature, the Anoli collection is a testament to craftsmanship and superior materials, with meticulously mouth-blown glass and sculpted metal shades.The new spot designs are suited to commercial and residential spaces, and the high-lumen focused lighting features the same rounded design as its glass counterparts. Where many spotlights today are technical and neutral in design, Anoli Spot combines glare-free task light and elegant aesthetics: a double-sided metal shade is concaved to reflect the light within while providing a streamlined and solid exterior without discernible edges.

With a long and distinguished career in the field of lighting, and a fascination for chandeliers, the Italian architect Paolo Rizzatto has designed the Rizzatto collection for Nuura. Paolo Rizzatto was born in Milan in 1941, where he studied for his degree in architecture at Milan Polytechnic in 1965 when he was 24. Rizzatto works as a freelance in the fields of architecture, interiors, design, lighting, and teaching. He founded Luceplan together with Riccardo Sarfatti in 1978.
The Dutch designer Rick Tegalaar has a creative process of redefining materials and developing innovative product designs, which has formed the Sasi collection for Nuura. Rick Tegelaar was born in Rotterdam in 1986 and graduated with honour in product design from ArtEZ Academy, Arnhem in 2011. Since then, he has worked as an independent designer from his atelier and design studio, working on selfinitiated and commissioned bespoke projects.
Nika Zupanc breathes new life into tradition, infusing her designs with her signature femininity and dose of drama, seamlessly blending echoes of emotion with unexpected forms and material juxtapositions. Nika Zupanc’s design ethos is a delightful paradox. She fearlessly challenges conventions while remaining faithful to familiar forms. At the core of her design philosophy lies the quest for an icon - an identifiable shape, colour or material reimagined into tangible objects with poetic sentiment.
Jessica Vedel is a talented designer with a background in fashion and shop-fit design. She founded her London-based design studio in 2012, later relocating to New York before returning to Copenhagen. Her designs are characterized by a sculptural design language, and she is committed to enhancing everyday spaces with timeless and refined elements. Jessica seamlessly blends functionality with creativity in her work, crafting elegant spaces, furniture, and accessories for private homes and commercial establishments.
