Foods Which Increase Sex Power Sex is a crucial part of a relationship. Sex boosts intimacy and builds trust. Sex keeps things “hot” in a relationship even decades later. Sex is like renewing the membership for your relationship. It is good for the mind, body, and soul. Therefore, a dip in sexual performance (which is natural with age) has taken a toll on a relationship too many. For men, testosterone levels begin to dip after the 40s, leading to a decrease in desire and power.

With women, menopause brings along a potent change in hormone levels, naturally causing them to feel ‘out of it’. But that does not mean that every relationship must meet its fate (and end) after both partners hit 40. Here’s what you can do to ensure that your relationship lasts a long time: Bring a change to your diet. Here are 6 foods which increase sex power: 1. Oysters and red meat: When consumed in moderation, oysters and red meat can work as powerful aphrodisiacs, thanks to their zinc content. Zinc is a mineral the body needs every day for many vital functions, such as cell metabolism, stamina, and regulating levels of testosterone. Testosterone is the most important male sex hormone. 2. Citrus fruits and berries: A recent study linked a higher fruit intake to a 14 per cent reduction in the risk of erectile dysfunction in men, owing largely to the flavonoid content of fruits. The fruits in focus here being citrus fruits like orange and grapefruit, and all berries. 3. Watermelon: Research in an animal model has also shown that watermelon may be effective against erectile dysfunction. The melon's content of the amino acid l-citrulline may explain this positive action.

4. Beetroot: Scientists believe that nitric oxide may be beneficial in preventing erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow and vasodilation. This bloody-looking vegetable contains nitrates, which convert to nitric oxide and may be beneficial for blood flow. 5. Almonds: Almonds contain arginine which improves circulation and relaxes blood vessels. This amino acid found in almonds helps you maintain an erection. 6. Dark chocolate: This sinful indulgence leads to a release of serotonin and endorphins in the brain, automatically putting you in a mood for sex. It doesn’t directly have an impact on sex power, as far as we know, but it certainly helps you get in the mood – which is half the job done. Any healthy food is good for sex. However, there are certain items that are particularly beneficial. Regular exercise, meditation, and limiting exposure to technology can do a relationship more good than medicines can. Also note, alcohol is bad for a healthy sex life because while it increases the desire for sex (at least for some), it decreases performance especially in men because it is a muscle relaxant.
