These did!

Over and over, my clients who would bring items that just would not look good in photos, either because of color, cut or material, so I began going to the source. Because I also have items in my own “studio collection including vintage dresses, shoes, & jewelry, I can add that key piece to pull a look together.

Color

Compliments My Fine Art background helped me choose the right outfit for this location using color theory. Blue and orange are Complementary Colors in art. With the yelloworange adobe walls, the true blue dress produced maximum impact!

Art of

Location

Being a Photographer

means scouting for that perfect shooting location and knowing how it will look in photos before clicking the shutter. It becomes especially difficult to find that unique vantage point in crowded tourist locations, like here near the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France. I visited a few days before the shoot to find that jewel spot, and my favorite images are in this gorgeous park corner with these delicate flowers. No tourists in these shots. Why?? Because everyone (and I mean hundreds of people) are about 20 feet away up the stairs. You have to view locations with an artist’s eye to conceptualize shots like the cover of this magazine.

The

Moodboards

After our Dream-It Meeting & Signature Closet Raid, I will create a set of Moodboards to set the stage for our epic shoot. I will create the boards from images you tagged from magazines, outfits from our planning, and ideas for hairstyling & makeup. The moodboard becomes especially important on the day of the shoot, as it is shared with our stylist (available only to Model Experience Clients) and and becomes a reference for each look.

Art In Nature

Tucson offers an amazing array of outdoor possibilites. Here in typical Tucson style, it was raining with rainbows one minute and a pretty sunset the next, so we made sure to capture both!

Why I use ... Hair&Makeup Artists An On Location Stylist! My awesome glamour gals (my favorite makeup and hair stylists) come work on set wherever we are shooting - for Model Expereince Sessions! That means they can fix fly-aways, gloss lips and we all can go for new ideas on the fly. They can also provide more than one look (put hair up or down / change makeup) as we change outfits. Did I mention you will feel like a supermodel? Now how great is that!

Look 1: Hair Up Before: Getting Styled! 26

Photoshoot Makeup is Different than Everyday Makeup • Foundation done correctly helps cover blemishes and even-out skin tone so you have that beautiful glow. But, it needs to be the correct color so it does not cause the face to look too light or dark. • Eye makeup needs to be dark enough to highlight the eyes for the camera, and shadow is specially contoured for pictures. • Even if you don’t normally wear makeup, don’t worry, our senior makeup is fresh, natural and to your level.

3: Loose Curls

2: Straight

Sweet 16! This teen was inspired by the 1940’s (her party theme), anything vintage, as well as comics and super heroes. The great thing about Bevin Christina Experiences is that we can explore all sides of what inspires you!
