NX200′s Powerful 20.3M APS-C CMOS Sensor by soyoung

As you may know, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced the NX200, which is the latest addition to the highly successful, premium NX range line-up last week at IFA 2011 in Berlin, Germany. When it comes to high performance specifications and the ability to produce great images, the NX200 packs the greatest punch. Among many of its extraordinary features, I’d like to tell you about the NX200’s powerful 20.3 megapixels APS-C CMOS sensor.

What is the pixel and sensor? Prior to the explanation, let’s figure out a definition for pixel in advance. A pixel is the smallest area with only one color. The image sensor equipped with the digital camera sources an external image from the lens and creates a picture by the pixels onto the

image sensor. If someone said “this is a 10 megapixels camera!” it means that a picture they took with the camera has around 10 millions pixels. The more pixels an image has, the more accurate and clearer picture you can get.

NX200 that will leave you speechless Samsung has built-in technology to enable any user to achieve professional performance, including a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor developed in-house by Samsung– the highest resolution in a compact system camera. The NX200 can capture images in impressively high 20.3 megapixel detail. This new level of clarity lets users enjoy superior image performance with a camera which will literally open up a whole new world of colors and aspects. What do you think of the NX200, which was designed to deliver a premium photography experience by placing a range of professional standard features, such as a 20.3 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, at the fingertips of a growing group of style-led photographers?
