DISCONCERTING BEAUTY
Moments are depicted that only exist to punctuate the human drama in order to clarify our existence and to find poetic meaning in everyday life. Consider movement as a metaphor for the ever seeking who experiences a continuous loss. Framed instances that would go unnoticed never show their complete structure. We continually reconstruct between self and other, liberating constraints and romantic values further complicating the reception of manifold layers of meaning. Objects in this atmosphere incite the viewer to make new personal associations, luring the viewer round and round in circles. Accidental and unexpected connections makes it possible to revise, to complement a poetic and often metaphorical language. Supposedly private, highly subjective and traquil poetic images leave traces of humour that echoes our own vulnerabilities. Time and memory always play a key role in a new romantic movement in the unfolding world. This is of great importance and bears witness to repetition, provocation and the investigation of the process of expectations. Examining the ambiguity, acceptance and refusal, depictions and ideas and intense personal moments, demostrate how life extends beyond its own subjective limits. At times, disconcerting beauty emerges and is revealed as a social assemblage. Interpret without being hindered by the historical reality. Believe in the idea. -MA Fine Art
