Burnished iron is a signature Charleston Forge finish. This translucent finish conveys the character in the raw steel, the strike of each hammer blow and the sense of hand of our artisan blacksmiths. When choosing finish options, bear in mind that Burnished Iron, Antique Pewter and Glazed Hudson all celebrate the rugged beauty of the metal and variation in color and texture should be expected.

Facet Glass (GLF)

Coco Bronze (GC) Coco Bronze is a beautiful green and brown flecked granite available on select tables only. It comes in ¾-inch and 1-inch thicknesses depending on top dimensions.
White Stria (GW) White Stria is a white and gray striped granite available on select tables only. It comes in ¾-inch and 1-inch thicknesses depending on top dimensions.
Premium Glass Cast Glass (GLC)
Cast Glass (GLC)
Fusion Glass (GL2)
Cast Glass is created by pouring molten glass into a mold. Each top is a one-of-a-kind piece of ar t featuring combinations of swirls, ripples and bubbles, both on the surface as well as inside the glass. No two tops are alike and may var y from each other significantly. Cast Glass is 1 inch thick and available only as 16" rounds and 14" squares. It is not available in custom sizes.
Fusion Glass is made of four ½-inch pieces of clear glass fused together in an oven to create a distinctive 2-inch thick top. The resulting color is a beautiful, light blue, the color of a glacial lake. The underside has a slight mottled texture that complements the slight blue hue of the glass. Fusion Glass is available in some custom sizes.
Facet Glass (GLF)
Mirror (GLM)
Facet Glass is made of three ¼-inch pieces of laminated glass. Once the three pieces are bonded together, the center piece is shattered to create a random, faceted pattern on this ver y strong, ¾-inch thick top. Facet Glass is available in some custom sizes.
Fusion Glass (GL2)
Mirror Glass is ¼-inch thick, mirrored glass and custom sizes are available.

About our fabric Crypton Home: Stain and liquid repellent All our fabrics are Crypton Home fabrics from Valdese Weavers. Crypton Home is a uniquely engineered liquid-repellent and stain-repellent finish that will not wash away or wear off for the life of the fabric. The patented technology encapsulates the fibers and will not let liquid or stains penetrate, thus giving it the highest performance for fabrics in the industry.
Spot Cleaning The spot cleaning method of stain removal can be used for most light to medium stains. Bone (F40)
Seal (F41)
Carbon (F42) 1. Before spot cleaning, blot up liquids on the surface with a clean, soft towel and brush off any loose dirt. 2. Prepare a cleaning solution of 1/4 cup mild soap, such as WooliteÂŽ or DawnÂŽ dishwashing liquid, per gallon of lukewarm water. 3. Apply the cleaning solution using a misting spray bottle. 4. Work the solution into the affected area by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or soft bristle brush. Make sure to work from the outside of the stain inward so as not to spread the stain and rinse your sponge or brush frequently. 5. Allow cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. 6. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residues, as residues will attract dirt. Blot excess moisture with a clean, soft towel or sponge. 7. Repeat steps 3-6 as needed. 8. Allow fabric to air dry.

As anyone who is familiar with Charleston Forge

Requesting a quote and placing an order.
Everything is made by hand in our factory in Boone, North Carolina.
Charleston Forge welcomes the opportunity to create custom furniture for you. You may customize almost any existing or discontinued item, or create a design that is uniquely yours. Please follow the simple steps below to get your custom order started. 1. Fax or Email a quote request to our custom department. Fax to: 828.264.5901 E-mail to: customs@charlestonforge.com All communication regarding custom quotes and orders must be in writing. We are unable to provide custom quotes over the telephone. Be sure to include: • Your Company Name and Account Number • Precise measurements and instructions (include drawings if applicable) • Desired wood species • Desired metal and wood finishes • Fabric or Leather choices 2. Quote Process. Each custom project is reviewed on an individual basis. A written quote is then prepared, explaining the projected costs and estimated lead time needed. Please allow at least 48 hours after sending in your request for us to finalize your quote. Sometimes the quote process is extended if we must get information from an outside supplier or if CAD drawings are required. 3. Place Your Order. When you are ready to order, fax the original quote back to us with a valid purchase order. Payment may be required before custom orders are processed.

CF Finds It's not every day that we find a supply of planks that were once part of the flooring in one of Thomas Edison's warehouses. It's not every day that we find glassworkers who have no boundaries when imagining and executing what can be done while working with glass. It's not every day that we find sources of truly uncommon materials or artists who thrive on creativity and invention. Our CF Finds program is a venue for us to share our little treasure chest of newfound materials that excite and inspire us as we create what's next for you and your home.
Edison Console 5520
Treat yourself to a piece of American histor y. Our Edison Console features a wood top made from floor planking that was recovered from one of Thomas Edison's factories. The famed inventor and businessman was the owner of the Wisconsin Chair Company in New London, Wisconsin, the source of this material.

Each piece of wood is embedded with tiny metal shards that are the by-products of machining processes and were pressed into the wood by rolling car ts and foot traffic throughout the years. No two tops are alike and each is numbered as a par t of this limited offering. The consoles also come with a glass top covering the wood to preser ve its surface.
