LENT 2009 Stations of the Cross at St Patrick's Church, East Ilsley From Friday March 6th to Friday 3rd April we will pray the Stations of the Cross at 7.30pm on Fridays during Lent. Do come to this short and simple though powerful prayer, and bring friends from other Christian denominations, all are welcome. Stations of the Cross at St Mary’s This will take place before Mass on Wednesdays during Lent. Starting at11.45am. All welcome. We have been raising money this week at school to support this project . Class 5 have been making and selling smoothies , Class 3 made biscuits and Class 4 ran a “bring and buy” sale. We’ll let you know next week how much has been raised. Recruitment of a new Head Teacher is underway. If you know of anyone who may be interested in the position, please ask them to contact the school. The successful applicant will be offered housing in East Hendred village. Please remember we are collecting the Books for Schools Tokens which are being printed every day in the Times papers until April. St. Amands is your local Catholic primary school, with free buses from Didcot, Wantage and Grove. You are welcome to visit the school at any time.
