Fr Chris McAneny has offered to lead a short series of sessions on ways of praying which will help us to accept this invitation of Jesus. The sessions will take place in the Rosary Room (next to Our Lady of the Rosary on Yarnells Hill) and will last no more than an hour. They will consist of some introduction to aspects of prayer, and some experience of different ways of praying. The dates are as follows: November 13th: Praying with Scripture November 20th: Centring Prayer November 27th: The Presence of God in Daily Life
They are open to all; no previous experience necessary! While it is hoped that participants will be able to take part in all the sessions, people will be welcome for whatever they can manage.
