Thank you HOLY HOUR St John’s Church in Wallingford will be open for a Holy Hour to be kept, once per month, starting from Friday 22 August, 3:30pm to 4:30pm, and then on the 1st Friday of every month thereafter. The 12.15pm Wednesday Mass on 27th August will take place in the Eyston Chapel of St Augustine’s. RIDE AND STRIDE This will take place on Saturday 13th September. AN EVENING WITH RICHARD BUDGEN. Deacon Richard, our Pastoral Area Deacon, will hold an informal evening talking about his journey to the Catholic Church and the Diaconate; what a Deacon is and does, on Friday. 3rd. October at our Lady and St. Edmund's Church : Abingdon. There will be Mass at 7.00pm. followed by the talk, at the end of which there will be an opportunity to ask questions. David O’ Sullivan, priest in charge of English Martyrs Didcot and St John the Evangelist Wallingford. The successful applicant will be located in the Parish Office at the presbytery in Manor Crescent Didcot. Hours of work :20 per week Tuesday - Friday, hours each day to be agreed with Line Manager. Commencement Date: 1st September 2008 Experience and Qualifications required for the role: Experienced Administrator with excellent secretarial skills, time management and prioritisation skills. Computer literate, skilled in word processing, desktop publishing, spreadsheets, finance data entry and database management as well as use of internet. Experience with website management an advantage Personal Attributes: Sympathetic to the Ministry and Mission of the Catholic Church. Self Motivated and flexible, with ability to work on own initiative and judgement without supervision, able to cope with change and work under pressure.
