We shall start by using the gospel of Mark and for the next session on Thurs. 1st May we shall concentrate on a passage in the first chapter. Those wishing to come are encouraged to read prayerfully this chapter at least once before the meeting. Other dates planned are Tues. 3rd June; Wed. 2nd

July; Thurs 7th Aug; Tues 2nd Sept. All take place at 7.30 in the parish rooms. After the fruitful joint prayer meeting in the week of prayer for Christian unity we will also be inviting any parishioner of St Augustine’s to join us if they wish. For information contact Denis Smith, 01235 765564.

We are also attentive to our call to peace, forgiveness and love in difficult personal, communal and world situations. We can experience the support of friends and family in our gathering for Mass today, and so we should do all we can to go out and proclaim our faith in our everyday lives.
