MINISTRY OF EDUCATION The Ministry of Education provides textbooks, free of cost, to all students in primary and secondary schools. Parents SHOULD NOT purchase books which are provided by the Ministry of Education. Below are the textbooks which are provided for students in primary and secondary schools.

Other Purchases: Depending on the grade your child is in, you may also be required to purchase dictionaries, atlases, technical equipment and other materials that are specific to specialized areas such as Home Economics, Visual Arts, Industrial Arts and Engineering.
One reader and one Phonics text for each grade Workbooks for Literacy and Numeracy
4-6
One workbook each for Science, Social Studies, Language Arts and Mathematics
7-9
One workbook for each textbook provided by the Ministry of Education, and on average, three (3) Literature books, approximately one per term
10 -11
Books which you are required to purchase outside of these guidelines MUST be based on children始s unique learning needs.
Textbooks for subjects which the Ministry of Education does not provide. These include Literature and Cosmetology
