Programmes being offered by B&B University College UWI OPEN CAMPUS ASC DEGREE B&B University College Ltd now offers the University of the West Indies Open Campus (UWIOC) Associate Degree in Business Management (BUMA) as of March 28, 2012 as an approved Associate Institution. UWI has committed in its strategic plan to collaborate with B&B University College, specifically working with them as partners in a regional effort in human resources development. BACKGROUND OF B&B UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LTD B&B University College Ltd (BBUC), formerly B&B Institute of Business (BBIB), is a private tertiary institution located outside New Kingston, which was established in 1984 to serve the expanding educational needs of Jamaican society. In 1992, it was one of the first nine institutions to be registered by the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ). ASC DEGREE PROGRAMME OUTLINE The Associate of Science Degree in Business Management (ASc BUMA) programme is specifically designed for middle managers, office professionals and persons interested in formalisng their skills in management. This programme will equip individuals with the required skills to pursue a career in business and management. It provides a mix of courses in a broad range of areas designed to provide a foundation in management principles and functional skills to enhance efficiency and advance organisational goals. Graduates who meet the minimum GPA requirements will be eligible for entry to Level 2 of the relevant BSc programme at UWI.
