A Quick Word... When I began my career as an architect and 3d artist, doing mostly architectural visualizations, my interest in general digital imagery was naturally getting stronger overtime. As 3d applications grew more sophisticated and I became aware that it was not the programs who limited my digital art. It was my lack of vision of the real world, it's natural colours and lighting. Of course, even at this point there are some technological barriers to be overcome but that is a subject for another discussion...

Anyway I ended looking for a way of improving my skills as a 3d artist in the fields of lighting and texturing. My passion for environments, scenery, architecture, and landscapes led me to start taking photos and compare them with the 3d images I produced so far. The more I took photos, the more I realized how gratifying it was and became quite fond of photography as a hobby, to the point of visiting photography websites, looking for cameras reviews, learning the principles of photography... so my quest for a way to perfect my 3d art, actually came with a most welcome side-effect: my newfound passion for photography. Since then, every time I go out on different occasions, be it to hang out with friends, job meetings or even pay bills, I look around trying to figure out the best points of view of the surroundings. And that's it!! Whenever I practice photography, learn about cameras, techniques, I become more and more fascinated by this form of art.
