boutique hotel April - 2020
Client: Hilton Garden Inn Location: Oakland, California
Concept “The return” The main idea behind the design of this Oakland boutique hotel is “the return”. The goal will be to bring the target users back to a life before technology, encouraging them to engage with each other, and with their physical senses. It is an analogue to the past, where people were one cluster, one family rather than being a group on whatsapp or facebook. Aesthetically, the design will incorporate handmade elements, textural finishes, natural materials, and simple lines that express the lifestyle of home comfort and a simpler time.

medical office may - 2019
Client: Janice Rockefeller Location: Winthrop, Arkansas
Concept “Nature in the Box The idea of inviting, keeping nature in the box gives a sense of being an integrated part of nature - despite the fact that you are actually indoors, which influences people feeling homie, cozy, and comfortable before being examined. Additionally, the natural materials such as wood, granite stone, the existing brick wall give the illusion of continuous relation from the indoor to the outdoor, since outdoor is surrounded by the fabulous landscape, creating complete harmony of nature and contemporary style. The medical office should be a designer for Dr. Rockefeller with 2 consulting rooms, 4 exam rooms, nurse station, break room, 2 accessible restrooms, reception & work zone, waiting & kids zone.

NATURE IN THE BOX
The Design Process According to the functional zone of the given spaces, they were divided into two zones like Yin and Yang. The Yin is the public zones such as reception desk, waiting and kids zone, work space, and Yang is consulting rooms, exam rooms, break room where at the same time the nurse station is acting as the border the line between those two part. Materials & Color Scheme The materials were selected according to the business progress and how long it will take to pay itself off. Since the Winthrop is a small rural town with a population of 168 the business should last more than 60 years to pay off. Based on these researches for the flooring was selected the vinyl flooring with a texture of wood on it and the concrete tiles since they will last long and easy to clean. The color scheme was selected based on their phycological influence on the people to relax and make them feel homie.

Concept “The Mountain Hideaway The event space design is a minimized impact on the environment in contrast to the modern engineered materials and then natural handmade. Bringing outdoor nature inside of the space with the view and the landscape itself, will influence people to feel cozy, relax, comfortable atmosphere which will help not to be reticent and communicate with others. With its strong emphasis in the relationship between the interior and exterior spaces which is manifested through the custom-glazed window, the natural context plays an essential role in the design. The main goal has reduced the contrast between indoor and outdoor nature, beautiful view and fresh air, flying butterfly, there is no better secret place to tuck into to experience a fun event after a hectic day and disappear into nature as you would into a Mountain Hideaway.

The Design Process The existing building has 2 different floor level, so the zoning of the function was divided into different floors. The main functions of the event were located in the entrance floor where at the same time the employee’s functions were located on the upper floor with a different entrance to avoid the intersection of circulation of guests and the service staff.

Materials & Color Scheme Most of the materials that are selected to this project were selected based on their acoustical characters such as absorbing or reflection sound. For instance the acoustic ceiling from Armstrong that absorbs sound, wooden flooring also absorbs sound where at the same time the walls and the glass reflects. So to avoid the echo in the space, the chairs are upholstered with textiles too. The existing people in the space are also a part of sound absorption elements so that not all the materials that are used in this project has acoustical character.

CG Rendering Interior design is all about creating a cohesive, unique, and clean aesthetic that reflects the client’s taste and personality. And while there are many ways designers get from point A to point B, there is a common thread that flows through each and every project since caves were being decorated with chisel and pigment: the process. The final step in design process for me is rendering, and I do not think this step as a optional. The reason of not being option rather being “must is that client could not undertant the concept, the reason why we choose the materials and etc. However, if you will show them rendering they will be impressed. For this project I have used Revit for modeling, 3Ds Max for detailing, Corona Render for the final render and Photoshop for post production.

Client: Artyom Kupriyanenko Location: Kiev, Ukrain
Description Interior design rendering services are an effective instrument that help Designers convey their concepts and win project presentations. The thing is, 3D Rendering is way clearer than all alternative ways Architects and Designers are used to. No drawing, moodboard or sketch is capable of delivering such level of precision and impact! It ensures that client understands all the benefits of the interior design and knows exactly what he gets. The often say that you hear from you client is: “I can’t visualize how my space will look if we take down those walls”. So computer graphic rendering is a great tool to deal with client and show them what they will like. Also, rendering can avoid mistakes such as matching the color scheme or the textile color tone when the sun comes in or when it’s night.

villa compound Jan - 2017
Client: Fatina Kourdi Location: Gaziantep, Turkey
Concept “The porch at sunrise” The villas are a contemporary conceptual home proposing a strong focus on clean lines and aesthetic detail. The client’s requirement was to create 2 different types of villa, for a rich family and for middle-level family. So the main idea of creating a sense of seating on the porch and looking to sunrise and sunset is an activity of every level family, so this activities atmosphere makes the gap of differentiation of family type disappeared. Also, every villa takes advantage of the surroundings by offering a wealth of viewpoint since the site has a slope of 10 meters which helps to create a fabulous view of every villa. The material palette was muted to contrast with the rich, emerald hues of the surrounding existing landscape.

Description The site has a slope of 10 meters which is a big advantage to create different levels for each villa and give them their privacy, however the huge amount of existing landscape connects the cultural atmosphere between neighbors. The fabulous the landscape between two levels is a great place to meet other families and spend their time.

First Type Villa This type of villa is design to a rich family according to the clients need. The house has 3 different floor level such as a garage(-2.50), entrance floor(+1.50) and second floor(+4.00). The big balcony with a great view of the city gives a sense of being the highest in the city which will make feel family in their rich mood.
47
Second Type Villa
This villa was designed for a middle-level income family based on clients need. The cantilever extension on the second level which acts as a porch, but indoor porch gives the feeling of power which makes the differentiation disappear. Also, this villa has 2 floor level with a separate open outdoor garage.

Concept “Breathing Gaziantep” Breathing city is a concept based on the meaning of the word “air” and is formed as follows: Air→Breath→Life, Air→Oxygen→Indoor Air Quality, Air-Fluid→Fluid Mechanics. The word “air” has a multi-dimensional meaning, and the concept of “breathing architecture” aims to enable the spaces to “breathe.” The concept has an influence on the shape of the building by connecting the west(main wind side) to the east(low wind side). Following the wind shape which comes as a result of curvy building that people prefer because it signals a lack of threat.

BREATHING GAZIANTEP
Description The visual impact of the main entrances and buildings is to balance the overall form and to get a center of focus. Differentiating the function of the main entrance by alteration of color and scale of the view and the curvy shape of the building gives the sense of separation of arrival and departure visibly which affect the acoustics as well.

Client: Gaziantep Municipality Location: East Gaziantep, Turkey
Concept “Kids art” The simple line building shape and the organic shape of the window were inspired elementary, block-houses model often drawn by children. The emphasized window shapes universally recognize by the young and old directly the kids drawing since it looks like disorganized shapes, however it was reworked to create a more complex design — fulfilling the kindergartens’ programs but also maintain the comfort of the home. The color scheme that impact to the kids are the yellow, red and green since they have a possitive influence to the kids. The red and yellow are simply emphesizing the art drawing of the kids(fenestration) where the green takes place as a landscape.

ROOT
Description City Museum is one of the most important landmarks in the city where most of the tourists come who don’t know the places. Tourist usually searches on google for city landmark or maps so the unusual shape of the building makes it pop out from the grid city urban which emphasizes itself.

The objects that will be presented in the city museum are antique with a valuable history. Also, the Gaziantep city has very high UV sun in the summer which can destroy the object that presented in the museum, so because of this, the elevations in the permanent exhibition zone are close from direct sunlight with a wall and sun cutters.

Concept “Music in Time The relation between architecture building and the music is a little reminder that there is something is besides us in this universe; harmonic connection between all living beings everywhere. This idea of music connects the historical part of the city with the modern part since in music there is no style, language, age and etc. .. As abstract art forms based on rhythm, proportion and harmony, architecture and music share a clear cultural lineage. Click here to watch animation

ROOT
Site Description The East-South of the site has historical traditional buildings with narrow street between them, however the west part has a modern cultural building. The history of the site itself says that in 14-15 centuries the people in this area were playing music in evening to get engaged with neighboors and have fun. So, the idea of making the music institute in this place was to bring the old cultural tradition with a new modern way.
