BREAK THE

SILENCE

Break the silence campaign is developed to give more awareness among domestic violence among men. The campaign is based on the CDC’S research about domestic violence. The results have shown that more than 28% about all men in The United States of Amerika have experience abuse from their intimate partner. It is a fact that woman are taken more serious when it comes to domestic violence. Men are seen as the strong and in charge to protect their families and woman. But when it comes to their safety within their household, it’s a taboo. Men are ashamed to talk about domestic violence, it’s something that people see as a familie issue, not as a social problem. Break the silence is made to help men to speak up and talk about domestic violence. Gender has no role when it comes to abuse.
