If you are an affiliate marketer and you are using a blog to promote your products, you need to use an effective system. To use a blog effectively you need to streamline your niche. What I mean by "streamline your niche" is that you need to keep your blog topic specific. To research what topic or niche is popular, simply use a keyword tool such as Key Word Discovery. Using the keyword tool, search what key words are getting the most "hits" or traffic. From the popular results you find, you can then create your niche or topic. For example if you see that "pets" is a popular search topic, promote pet related products and topics from your blog. Keep the blog specifically to pets. Do not promote unrelated products like "A cure for acne" on a pet related blog! That creates a visitor experience that is too chaotic. They will be overwhelmed by topic variety overload! When people use search engines they are obviously looking for pages with specific content. If the person has searched pet topics and they get to your site and find a wide variety of product ads, they will be frustrated and not visit your site again. If you want, you can make multiple blogs. For example, if you decide you want to promote pets, family life and golfing; that's fine, just keep each blogs content specifically to one topic. I promise it will be easier to get traffic to your site this way. If you follow that system, it will be so much easier and your sales campaign will be more focused. You can expand your niche by joining forums specifically related to your blog content. This will increase traffic to your site because on the forums you can place links to your blog page. This is targeted traffic. The people coming to your blog are already interested in the topic you are promoting. Therefore they will be that much more likely to buy from your ad links. You can even build a clientele this way. You will get frequent visitors to your blog and they will post good comments. The good comments they leave will build your good sales reputation. Remember, keep your blog topic specific, and you should have good success with the system.
