A lot of people don't like to go against an Auto-Snagger because it will automatically make the person using it the highest bidder until it is out of bids. If you keep placing bids against someone with an AutoSnagger, it will keep outbidding you. This can cost you a lot of bids. If you see an auction with someone actively using an Auto-Snagger, wait it out and try to see if the Auto-Snagger eventually gives up. Then you can swoop in and place your bids. You can even set up your own AutoSnagger and use the same strategy of scaring off other bidders. Be careful though; if everyone stops bidding against the Auto-Snagger, the auction may end sooner than you think making the Auto-Snagger the winner. It's all about timing, strategy, and patience. Don't be discouraged if you don't win right away. It takes practice to get the right strategy and everyone has their own technique. If you're nervous about your first auction, you should try the Beginner Auctions. These are only available to people who haven't won an auction yet, so you won't have to worry that you're going against a "pro."
