usually start to think about buying Christmas presents after the October half term holidays. The Christmas guides are in the shops, the children have spent the holidays drawing circles round everything they could possibly wish for, or we have been brainwashed by the continual television advertising, that is no longer seasonal. When my children were young the television adverts started in September. Now as I watch YouTube videos and the children’s channels with my granddaughter, they are just continual. There is no doubt this year our buying habits will change due to Covid restrictions, with more on line purchases.
