Technical specifications document describing the improvements made to sound quality by Mobile Fidelity's UHQR LP's. UHQR LP vinyl was developed as an outgrowth of the JVC CD-4 Quadradisc and their capacitance-based Video Disc, the VHD System, which was also to have a compatible digital audio disc called AHD. Unlike a standard or CD-4 LP, the VHD/AHD disc was made conductive by the addition of carbon black - RCA did the same thing with their SelectaVision CED VideoDisc, which was unlike the VHD Video Disc because the VHD disc has no grooves and the playvack stylus is flat. VHD was never released in America.
