What is EDGE Certifcation?
EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Effciencies) certifcation is a globally recognized system for certifying eco-friendly buildings. It was developed by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, in response to the urgent need for sustainable construction practices. EDGE Certifcation evaluates the energy, water, and material ef fciency of buildings, allowing them to achieve a minimum threshold of 20% reduction in these areas compared to conventional buildings.
