Country Court says ‘Thank You’... to Hard-working Care Staff at Local Care Homes with Gifts

Staff at Country Court’s Tallington Lodge Care

Home in Tallington and Rose Lodge Care Home in Market Deeping received a ‘Thank You’ gift from the Kachra family, owners of the Country Court group, in early July. The company operates thirty-two care homes across the UK, employing over two thousand staff, all of whom will receive the gifts as thanks for their continued work, caring for some of the most vulnerable people in society.

Country Court CEO, Alykhan Kachra, said, “Our staff have been amazing throughout this pandemic, putting our residents before themselves and their own families. Many have worked long hours and extra shifts; we felt they deserved a treat, and this would be a great way to say thank you and to acknowledge the sacrifices that people continue to make.”

At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, the group delivered a ‘Care Package’ to every member of staff, consisting of over twenty items including food, drink and basic provisions to help with day

to-day life, whilst food and basic provisions were scarce. The latest gift package includes treats to enjoy at the end of a working day, including Prosecco, chocolate, ‘Country Court Jellybeans’, caramel shortbread and shea butter moisturising hand cream.

The thank you gifts have been very well received by the care home staff. Home Manager, Manju Panankavil, commented, “We would like to say a huge thank you to the Kachra family for the lovely gifts, generosity and continued support. The pandemic has been challenging for everyone, but here at Tallington Lodge we are very proud of all our staff and their continued hard work to keep our residents and each other safe.”

Chairman of Country Court, Abdul Kachra, said, “We want to thank every single member of staff in our care homes for their continued commitment. We hope that this token of our appreciation will be a nice treat that they can take home and enjoy at the end of a hard day’s work.” The Country Court group operates thirty-two nursing and care homes which are working to support elderly people throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. Founded in 1983, it is a family-run business to this day, with the company philosophy, “Our family caring for yours”, at the heart of every home.
