Our financial and practical supports will equip you with everything you need to make your meetings and incentives a huge success on the world stage. Our assistance starts at step one when you are sourcing potential destinations: before the bidding process for your event is complete, the Meet in Ireland team can help you create expert bid documents and presentations that will help seal the deal. We even provide financial support to reduce costs incurred as part of the bidding process itself.

SITE INSPECTIONS:

Site inspections are often one of the keys to a successful bid. Meet in Ireland can now support costs associated with virtual site inspections. An additional €1,000 has been added to support development costs for virtual activities (with overall funding based on the number of international guests attending the event). In partnership with the five Convention Bureaux of Ireland, Meet in Ireland can also support the costs of travel and accommodation for up to three key decision-makers visiting Ireland for a future business tourism event.

DESTINATION SUBVENTION:

We offer a flat fee of €30 for each international guest in groups of over 50 international attendees, up to a maximum of €100,000 for applications received before 31st December 2022.

This subvention support can also be used to create a wonderful highlight event, designed to make your programme even more attractive to your guests. This could be anything from a gala dinner in a magnificent medieval cathedral, a welcome reception in the Guinness Storehouse Gravity Bar (with panoramic views of Dublin City) or an adventure experience on the world-famous Killarney lakes.

We also offer a range of practical supports that include introductions to a range of trusted Destination Management Companies (DMCs); each of these partners is equipped with the local knowledge and expertise that can help to elevate all aspects of your incentive trip and enhance the luxury elements.

Convention Bureaux

With the help of the five Convention Bureaux of Ireland, we can offer you complimentary venue finding and accommodation sourcing services in our business tourism hubs: Dublin, Cork, Kerry, Shannon, and Galway
