Margot Verheijen, MD
Chief Medical Information Officer, CMIO, ElisabethTweeSteden Ziekenhuis (ETZ) hospital, Netherlands. Her passion for ICT led her to the position of CMIO after she was very actively involved at the implementation of a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) during the merger of two hospitals. As one of the earlier CMIOs in the Netherlands, she stands at the cradle of the profession's development and possesses extensive dossier knowledge. Her area of expertise lies within the digital transformation of hospitals, which resulted in her hospital to be the first outside the US to implement a LLM into the EHR.
