INN-TO-INN BICYCLE TOURS WORLDWIDE

WHY CHOOSE DISCOVERY BICYCLE TOURS? Our tours are some of the best, most carefully crafted, relaxing, perfectly supported biking vacations offered. Not just the best value (also true) but the best tours. Period.

You’ll be confident. With Discovery’s expert staff and leaders, you’ll be able to unwind and enjoy your tour knowing we’ve done meticulous planning. Our experienced guides are there to make sure you see, taste and experience the highlights of each location. Plus, the support van follows your group to give you snacks, water, repairs — or a lift up the hill. You can relax. We take care of the details. And we cover most meals, but often give you options for lunches on your own. This gives you flexibility to bike at your own pace — and take those extra photos or stop at the café if you like. Or challenge your legs. Most days, we offer options for those who want more biking miles. This is ideal for couples and groups who may want a somewhat varied experience. And it allows for solo travelers who want to ride with others of the same ability level. Our cancellation policy is very friendly. We never charge you anything if you cancel before your final payment date — usually 90 days before the tour starts. (It’s 120 days for Florida Keys, Chile and the Moselle River Bike & Barge, and 150 days for the Vietnam Adventure.) Your wallet will be happy. Our prices are amazing. You stay at sumptuous inns, with the best locations to walk to sights and restaurants — instead of an overpriced place in an inconvenient location. We pass along the savings to you!

GIVING BACK — THANKS TO YOU! You have an impact Besides having an outstanding bicycling experience, you’ll feel good when you choose Discovery Bicycle Tours because you are supporting local merchants who provide your lodging and local farmers and partners who provide your snacks — like Red Kite Candy, Untapped maple products and Cabot Creamery. AND you are protecting wild and special places. Giving 1% For The Planet Since part of the appeal of our tours is the spectacular locations you get to visit, it seems fitting to support organizations that protect our Earth. That’s why Discovery Bicycle Tours has become a member of 1% For The Planet. This means we donate at least one percent of revenue each year to nonprofits that protect wildlife, wild places and the bicycle routes we all love. Nonprofits you help support For example, we support the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy, Vermont Land Trust, Adventure Cycling Association and Local Motion — which advocates for safe biking and walking routes in Vermont and runs the bicycle ferry on Lake Champlain that we use on several of our tours. We hope you join us in feeling passionate about giving back to the environment that brings us all such a thrill as we cycle in special places around the world.
